Hypocrites. You’re so concerned with not eating Halal meat, but you’ll eat other commercially produced meat? Why not give up meat completely if you supposedly care so much for the animals?

I think it would be better to not to interfere in our religious matters. We slaughter animals to complete the sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim A.S and ALLAH ALMIGHTY don’t need the flesh or blood of the animal being slaughtered. TAQWA is the reason behind this festival. The meat/beef is divided among the poor who can’t afford them in normal routine of life. We MUSLIMS don’t interfere in your religious matters whether you’re jews or chrisitians whatever festivals you enjoy like Christmas or Easter etc..

Whatever the fors and againsts are about halal meat ( which I am totally against)My issue is CHOICE. My rights are just as important as any muslims so when I find out that the takaway I have been using has been serving halal without stating clearly, my human rights have been breached. When I find out that supermarkets have been selling halal without correct labelling, and I have unkowingly eaten halal, my human rights have been breached. It says in the Bible that Christians should not eat sacrificed meat. Isn’t that what halal slaughter is? It also says that no meat that has been blessed by a false idol or God should not be eaten by Christians..Isn’t that what allah is????

I – Halal Method

1. The first three seconds from the time of Islamic slaughter as recorded on the EEG did not show any change from the graph before slaughter, thus indicating that the animal did not feel any pain during or immediately after the incision.

2. For the following 3 seconds, the EEG recorded a condition of deep sleep – unconsciousness. This is due to a large quantity of blood gushing out from the body.

3. After the above mentioned 6 seconds, the EEG recorded zero level, showing no feeling of pain at all.

4. As the brain message (EEG) dropped to zero level, the heart was still pounding and the body convulsing vigorously (a reflex action of the spinal cord) driving maximum blood from the body: resulting in hygienic meat for the consumer.

II – Western method by C.B.P. Stunning

1. The animals were apparently unconscious soon after stunning.

2. EEG showed severe pain immediately after stunning.

3. The hearts of the animal stunned by C.B.P. stopped beating earlier as compared to those of the animals slaughtered according to the Halal method resulting in the retention of more blood in the meat. This in turn is unhygienic for the consumer.

A lot could be said on this topic…a lot more than what is said here..

the Anonymous above is surely Hindu, i believe. ” dont kill animals please, you all muslims and jews and other, cos we believe human will die and reborn in any shape…so it could be an animal….OR A PLANT TOO.. so why eat vegetables then. Dont the plants feel.they show all signs of life.so next time you eat a curry, think about about rebirth as a chilli or a potato or tomato. Infact, an experiment showed a flowers blossoming earlier than the others of same specie when a musician daily played music near by. So they have SENSES too.”

Some people went vegetarian after some horrific experience..Good for them as its better to eat vegetables than to eat some blood filled (non halal) meat which causes disease like Swine flu….and bird flu.

Since Muslims and Jews are considered to be the CRUEL PEOPLE to animals so why dont you leave them ALONE.LET THEM EAT WHAT THEY WANT, and eat what you like.they aint forcing you to eat HALAL and KOSHER. so its personal choice.when comes to hygiene HALAL / KOSHER is more beneficial than non hahal electrified meat. As a matter of fact, even imagining that blood filled meat makes me vomit….eughhh.. Since all hindus are not vegetarian, since some vegetarian do not eat potatoes, since all muslim and jews do not eat halal, since many christian dont bother about halal or non halal, Since many Christian in ETHIOPIA Slaughter the animals HALAL in the name of ALLAH and sell it to muslims, since ARAB WORLD always has been growing vegetables, more or less, & it was not the a problem to eat animals only cos of non availability of vegetables in ARAB WORLD (what do you think what animals ate those days…oy yeah…the rocks and sand..) and last but not least since EVERY ONE OF YOU was born with CANINES…so here is the biological proof that manking has been eating meat since its creation….I BELIEVE its matter of choices available to you.

SO please EAT FRESH and HEALTHY, and Stay clean.and all meat eaters…please eat some green always with meat…its good for you and revives the taste of meat meal. AND dont bother about these vegetarian sayings while eating meat.. it spoils the taste of meat meal..

I m surprised to see that people try to justify their barbaric, shameful acts in the name of god and religion….If all the creations on earth is god created, then how the hell one can take life of the other creature in the name of god…..How come someone eating animal after killing it can do something good to god….

Please do not kill animals in the name of god, the one supreme power who himself created these animals and sent on earth to live with us…then why going against god wish and kill them.

As far as Islam is concerned, it allows people to sacrifice the animals with care on EID and not everyday simple to satisfy your taste buds.

According to hinduism, buddisum, jainisum all the life’s are precious and we humans have the duty to save the life in whichever way we can.

Why should you listen to us and follow our way of doing things? Maybe because you are living in England? Last time I checked, this was still a Christian country! If I was in a Muslim country I would expect to follow the laws of customs of that country. I have no real problem with Muslims following their own religious practices (including Halal meat)in their own homes here in the UK, but when it is foised on to me without so much as a by your leave (I work in my local hospital which has recently announced that all meat served in the canteen will be Halal because Muslims can’t eat non-halal and the rest of can eat Halal) I draw the line.
