AMERICANS for Truth about Homosexuality has this warning on its website: “Caution: this website contains information not suitable for children.”

Not suitable for children? Jesus H Krispies. This site isn’t suitable for ANYONE – unless of course you’re crazy Christer with paranoid delusions about homosexuality engulfing the world.

We stumbled on AFTAH while looking into a report that Heinz UK had pulled a TV commercial for its new Deli Mayo which featured a gay couple.

Said Nigel Dickie, Director of Corporate Affairs for Heinz UK:

It is our policy to listen to consumers. We recognise that some consumers raised concerns over the content of the ad and this prompted our decision to withdraw it.

But, according to the Pink Triangle blog, Heinz is now receiving thousands of calls and emails from outraged gays demanding that the ad be reinstated.

News of its withdrawal reached the ears of AFTAH, whose head honcho, the swivel-eyed homophobe, Peter LaBarbera, had this to say:

That the ad ran at all says as much about the new, evolving, anti-Christian Britain and its plummeting morality as it does about Heinz. The ketchup corporation would never run this ad in the USA, although surely we’re not far behind the Brits given current trends.

AFTAH describes itself as:

A group dedicated to exposing the homosexual activist agenda. Founded as a part-time venture in 1996 but newly reorganized in August 2006, AFTAH seeks to apply the same single-minded determination to opposing the radical homosexual agenda and standing for God-ordained sexuality and the natural family as countless homosexual groups do in promoting their harmful agenda … There are over a dozen national American “gay” groups with annual budgets ranging from just under $1 million to over $30 million working to advance this agenda — which threatens to criminalize Christian opposition to behavior that most Americans believe is wrong.

Phew! What a long-winded way of saying “We’re a bunch of Nazi crackpots”.

As proof of Britain’s descent into godlessness and homosexual depravity, AFTAH has reproduced an email it received from a UK resident, Peter M Bradley, who wrote:

You are very lucky that you live in the United States as we have laws in the United Kingdom about inciting hatred based on sexual orientation… here you would be imprisoned; and justly so. I have never seen such a diatribe of prejudiced rubbish in my entire life. Also the fact that your life’s work is dedicated (every day) to furthering your cause of hatred astounds me. Do you have nothing better to do with your time? I thought that Christians were meant to be out building wells in Africa where help is needed, not dressing up in smart suits waging campaigns against marginalised groups of people. I wonder what God thinks of you making decisions for him?

Maybe if America had a more united culture like we do in the UK it may be more tolerant of all groups – we over here in Europe see you as a very disparate country made up of groups that know nothing about each other, and who have very little respect for diversity. You should take some lessons from the old world… it seems we have advanced much more than you have.

Says LaBarbera:

I wonder how many American “queer” activists think like him (even if they wouldn’t admit publicly it yet). Send us your responses to Mr Bradley, and your defense of American freedom, at americansfortruth@comcast.net. We’ll publish some, and pass them on to him.

Yeah, why don’t we rise to the challenge, side with Bradley, and tell LaBarbera what a twattish asshole we all think he is!

  1. Not too keen on Dr Who or Torchwood either I suppose !

  2. What is there to “expose” about the gay activist agenda? We are totally out, with nothing to hide about our “agenda”, i.e. aims. Such language implies that our activism is sinister, because hidden. If this were so, how does Barbie know about it, anyhow?

  3. ‘Anti-Christian Britain’?

Well, perhaps if you think it is ‘anti-Christian’ to refuse to discriminate against people that some Christians don’t like.

  4. What do you think LaBarbera would do if
we tell him Pedro Almodovar is making a new film in which Julian Clary plays Judas and Norman Lamont is Christ?

  5. I accepted your invitation to do a bit of mind-speak; I expect either a prosaic response with a fairly weak counter-argument, or no response at all. I’d paste what I wrote here if I hadn’t written so much.

  6. It’s so upsetting to know that a couple of people say “it’s disturbing, take it off” it’s done but when many people say “hey, put it back on, it’s not disturbing” they don’t! Why is it always this way when it comes to homosexual content, if you don’t like it, just turn away or change the channel, it’s not done to personally insult you. Be normal and move on with your life instead of wasting your time trying to hurt and stop us. please grow up
