He is Michael the Black Man, a 49-year fundamentalist preacher who gained his five minutes of fame when he led a demonstration last month against Barack Obama.
MTBM – aka Michael Symonette, Maurice Woodside and Mikael Israel – is convinced that Obama is the Devil incarnate.
Yawn … bucketloads of American fundies of all hues believe the same. But he is also convinced that, apart from being Satan, Obama is:
Endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan.
WTF?
His insanity doesn’t stop there. “And don’t even get him started on Oprah,” says the Miami New Times. She’s a “devil” and “hell-bound Jezebel.”
Oprah Winfrey, he also declares on his mess of a website, is:
Satan in drag.
Cunning little bugger, this Satan geezer, occupying two bodies at once.
Says MTBM:
If Obama is elected, there will be an international, insane war, and nobody will survive. And Oprah knows that! She wants everybody to die with her black ass!

It goes without saying that MTBM is homophobic – but the message he delivers to his flock is hugely misogynistic as well.
The charismatic preacher – a former career criminal – leads a cult-like church that preaches to black men against the evils of women.
He appears to run a daily video sermon programme where he sings and talks about the ways to redeem black men by getting them to avoid any contact or feelings for women.
In fact, all the woes of black men in the US is placed entirely upon the shoulders of black women, child support, and the Democratic Party.
Oh, and he’s a tad racist as well:
White men are not the devil, they’re too stupid to be the devil.
Honestly, the creatures you encounter when you aren’t carrying a cattle-prod!
