How would you like to have been aborted? Some caring mother gave you a proper birth and grew you up through your adolescence years into the nice person you are today. You are fortunate only because your mother was a pro-lifer. Dobson is going to have a pretty shit day today in Chicago, as it happens.
He’s due to pick up an award tonight from an outfit called the Radio Hall of Fame, which hasn’t pleased the numerous organisations who think that’s the dumbest, most inappropriate thing since Kissinger got the Nobel Peace Prize.
A protest of LGBT organisations is going to be waiting right outside the venue.

I guess he built his house on sand. That’s no surprise to me, but I wonder if he realizes it.

If all he is mourning is his loss of power, the loss of rubbing his religious policies all over America’s face, then may he cry, wither and enjoy his ride to oblivion. He’s earned it.

On the other hand, I hope Mr. Dobson turns into a real man of integrity, abandons his foolish religious ideas and finally does something to repair all the damage he’s done while misleading and confusing people all these years. I highly doubt that it will happen, but I’ve seen some surprising things in my lifetime.

Boo hoo for traditional bigots. I think it’s a step forward if Barack doesn’t want their advice on policy. Change was his big word so I hope he plans on dragging the country into the new millennium with big change in mind. I know he’s going to have a fight on his hands every step of the way but if he wasn’t up to the challenge, he wouldn’t have run.

It’s going to be an interesting four years.
