I could have sworn the year is 2008, not 1008.

People have the right to whatever faith they choose to believe in. But once someones beliefs are justification to harm another human being, that is where i draw the line.

I am constantly reminded by collegues and friends all the "good" that religion has done.

Not from where i am standing.

I something voilates your beliefs (for example violence in the name of faith violates mine) keep it to yourself, and be content in the knowledge that you are a better Human being for your tolerance.

Those radical female activists. How dare they flaunt the Word of Allah like that?!? They should learn their places and just be decent, moral (slave) women like them men tell them to be.

This shows the determination, the courage of these teenagers. Even in the face of physical violence, they still so desperately want to learn! We don't know, our children don't know, how lucky they are! We live in a free-thinking (most of the time) society that allows boys and girls to go to school. Mind you, we should not rest on our laurels, since only ten years ago (less than that!) that primary school children were attacked with stones for going to school in Ireland. Jacqui Smith, when talking about the Victoria Climbe case, said that it had nothing to do with 'culture' as "there are no cultures that condone child abuse". This case, and that of Victoria Climbie (mad Christian couple trying to beat the Devil out of an innocent young girl) proves that, once again, Jacqui is clearly talking out of her arse.
