STUDENTS in ‘blasphemy’-obsessed Pakistan have found something new to kick off about – a medical textbook in which a page of the Koran had been used, possibly accidentally, in the binding.
And here's another use for the Koran
The ‘blasphemy’, according to this report, came to light this week when a copy of the textbook belonging to a medical student at Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, was torn apart by chance.
This prompted students at several medical colleges, including the Rawalpindi Medical College, to tear apart their copies.
All hell broke loose when it was found that pages of Koran had been used in almost all copies of the texbook, and the students now want action taken against the publisher and the printer.
Stand by for stonings, burnings and general mayhem.
Around 800 students of the RMC staged protest demonstrations at the Holy Family Hospital to condemn the act, and they urged Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to take serious action against the culprits.
What a pity we never see these infantile twats protesting against things that actually matter – like koranic-inspired suicide bombings and acid attacks on females.

This tendency to kick off over anything and everything at least gives us some insight into the early days of Christianity. After all, this is how Jesus’ followers behaved as Rome went into its long decline. They kept killing, rioting and burning until they got their way, while all the time wittering on about love in the same way Muslim thugs and their apologists witter about peace.

You know, in the grand scheme of things, the ink on the paper and the paper itself all came from atoms and molecules of the earth that were at one time a part of something else. When the pages or the koran have rotted or burned and returned to the earth, the divinity that was attributed to them will be long gone as well. I find no better example of this cycle than the one the publishers used.
Then there’s the irony of recycling the pulp from a holy book in order to make a book of knowledge.

Now where they fun makers gone? Probably they are busy in research and its good. May be they find some truth or may be they are busy in searching something else to taunt against Islam.
I wonder why these people are so keen to humiliate Islam and Muslim while they have never been treated such by Islam or Muslims. History has proofs that Muslims saved Jews from the tyrannic rule of Romans. Romans, ancestors of modern world, killed their scientists, social scientists and preachers for revealing knowledge they hadn’t have. Now they are teaching they same knowledge in colleges. Islam taught the same knowledge of science 1500 years ago when modern Romans were unwilling to accept it.
I wonder how these people can claim to be civilized and tolerant charging Muslims of being uncivilized and intolerant! They do whatever dirty act they can think of to humiliate Islam and hurt the Muslims and then they want them to smile too. They may not believe in religion but what if somebody abuse their family, father or anyone they respect? I somebody only refuse to accept the controversial figure holocaust causalities, they punish him but they want Muslims to be numb and insensitive when their religion, forefathers and community are violently attacked.
Modern sciences are fast proving what Qurran has claimed 1500 years ago (examples available on internet.Modern world has answers like PERHAPS and MAY BE on creation of man and earth. They are not certain. Then why are they so sure that sure claim of Quran is not true. They are biased and deliberately obstructing their mind and logic.
I only ask these commentators not to waste time in unproductive and lousy criticism but to take out some time, read a little from reliable source (available on internet) about Islam (including translation of the Holy Quran) and then think a little with open mind. May be they find answers to many questions.

agree with imran and farwa. whoever reads this i want to suggest one thing. take sometime out to read translation of Quran in your language so that you get a fair idea of the teachings of islam and then make a comment.
