‘Christians for Truth’?
More chance of ‘KKK for Racial Harmony’, I’d have thought.
Anyway, the true roots of any ‘proper’ nativity play lie in Xmas pantomime;any parent who’s ever cringed as their kid playing ‘Virgin Mary’ comes out with an inappropriate line her mum uses at home knows that.
I’m still cracking up at the video of mine slam-dunking the baby Jesus into the crib so she could go and play on the toy donkey instead.
Christians should lighten up and respect the real Xmas traditions for a change.

Quite right. Nobody owns the Nativity story, any more than they can ‘own’ King Arthur or Robin Hood. It’s an ancient legend. Christians just hate gays, don’t they? The one group they can enjoy hating openly, while talking about love.

Well, no one owns christianity or christian beliefs, everyone should be free to do with them as they please. When you mock a beliefs, that’s all you do – you mock a belief. Beliefs aren’t people and don’t deserve protection. Especially not those that are so old and unproven.

Gee, when they say and do things that are horribly offensive (even harmful) to others they claim they’re just “expressing their deeply held religious beliefs”. Now they want to pretend they’re persecuted? Let me get them a tissue. I think I have a used one in the trash can.
