US Cult leader Wayne Bent, who was sentenced this week in New Mexico to 18 years in prison for molesting a young follower, said that jurors at his trial “have crucified the Son of God afresh”.

Eight years of Bent’s sentence were suspended, effectively reducing his jail term to 10 years, unless the suspension is revoked, according to this report.
After his conviction in mid-December, the self-proclaimed messiah said in an online posting that the courts have again crucified the son of God, and that “their day of destruction was assured”.
The Father in heaven will now judge them as guilty because they have judged His Son as guilty, calling His Son an impostor, blasphemer, and demon possessed, just as it was at his first appearing nearly 2000 years ago.
Bent faced a mandatory minimum sentence of three years and up to 18 years after being found guilty by a jury in Taos. He was convicted of one of two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Bent, 67, who is the leader of the Lord our Righteousness Church which also refers to its remote Union County compound northwest as Strong City, admitted lying naked with the two girls in 2006 but said any touching was an act of religious healing with no sexual overtones.
Shortly after the verdict he told reporters he had been falsely convicted. Since then he’s posted a statement on the group’s website in which he explained that the virgins he lay with had been sent by God.
When the virgins came to me and asked to lie naked on my bed, I told them that this would open up the seven last plagues. It surely did. I told them that this would enrage the natural world. It did. I told one of the young ladies that it might kill me to follow her requests. I asked her, ‘Would you still ask these things of me if it would kill me?’ She said ‘Yes’, revealing the Spirit that had taken up residence within her.
God spoke through her and made His premonition known at that time. The first plague was a great sore, and the sore was my allowing the virgins to lie on my bed naked when they requested that of me. The society at large became very offended at this. They thought I was being sexual, when no sexuality was involved; there was no desire or arousal or anything of the kind.

Isn’t claiming to be a new messiah kind of blasphemous?. Actually if this IS the end times the person who actually claims to be the messiah first is actually the antichrist. I would have thought he would have been a bit more difficult to spot

Saw a programme about this fellow a year or so ago. He’d slept with his son’s wife claiming God had told him to.

What nut admits to lying naked in bed with two underage girls and then tries to sell a story about nothing improper happened?
He must have been drinking some strange kool aid when he posted this statement on his web site.

I saw that program too…. he had managed to convince his ‘flock’ that the world was going to end, and when it didn’t, they chose a news story (or something similar) and claimed that ‘It was the BEGINNING of the end!’. Genius!
Needless to say, he’s a complete & total freak, and good at brainwashing minors unfortunately. When ‘enlightened’ parents went to court to get their vacant teenage girls back from the molester, they’d go on hunger strike in protest until the parents legally signed them over to the cult…

Wayne Bent is such a fake and is rightfully in prison. He says the jury that convicted him had again crucified the Son of God, just as Jesus Christ had been crucified and that they had assured their destruction by God. First, Wayne Bent is not the Son of God or the Messiah. Jesus Christ IS the only Messiah, the true Son of God. Also, while on the Cross Jesus asked God to forgive the people, saying that they knew not what they did. He did not say that they had all assured their destruction. Bent is a very disturbed individual and needs a lot of help. He devised a clever way to gain control of people, get their money and other possessions, as well as warp young girl’s minds to make them believe if they lay naked with him they are being “healed” and having a religious encounter with God. He also brainwashed other men’s wives to believe it was God that told them to have sex with him. Bent, you are a sick and deviant sexual predator, God help you.

"They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,"
The true Messiah, the Holy One of Israel, warned us that in the last days many will come claiming themselves to be the Messiah. People are truly sheep and without the Good Shepherd we are easily led astray,
