Why oh why are these loonies given air time. There is no god so they are wasting their time. But even if they did not believe in a god they would be discrimating against everyone they disagree with. These people are bigoted and wonder if we knew all there was to know about them personnally they would be squeaky clean. I think not. Judge yourself before you judge others.

Stuart H.

Loved it! Very funny!

Why do they look down anyway. Doesn't the big guy live up the way in the sky?

The sad thing is, no matter how often their prayers go unanswered, they just never let go of these mad ideas. God is willing use a hurricane to kill loads of people just to stop a gay pride march in New Orleans but when he has a chance to actually step in and change the law regarding homosexuals, he just can't be bothered.

But still they will believe.

If these people really were "instructed by scripture" as they claim they would hardly be supporters of what is generally regarded as the traditional family anyway. The OT recommends polygamy and the NT advises people to avoid marraige altogether even if you have to resort to cutting your balls off.

Are you sure those freaks in the picture are actually praying?
Maybe they're either doing a Baptist version of the Hokey Cokey or headbanging to a very glum hymn.

As usual, they inaccurately and cynically use the word 'family' to mean the wholesome antithesis of 'homosexual' as if gay people everywhere didn't come from stable families.

The legalization of same sex marriage indeed diminishes the rights of the religious. It takes away their right to deny equal treatment under the law to whatever minority they choose to target. Thanks to the granting of equal rights to gays, it is just a matter of time before religious studies departments at such conscious agents of the god delusion as Oxford and Cambridge are ordered to employ professors of religious history who wish to teach something other than the party line.
Show me a currently-employed professor (or UK equivalent) in any department or faculty relevant to religion, whose writings and teachings are openly atheistic, and I'll show you a former godworshipper who only came out of the closet and acknowledged that he had ceased to be godphuqt after he had acquired tenure.
