TAKIYYA – or deceiving non-Muslims to protect or promote Islam – is an accepted, time-honoured practice among Koranimals.

So, was Dr Daud Abdullah, deputy Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, engaging in a wee spot of takiyya when he denied advocating attacks on Jewish communities all around the world – as well as on British troops – when he recently signed some silly piece of paper called the Istanbul Declaration?

Was Daud Abdullah the inspiration for this Bo Selecta rubber mask? We really ought to be told.

Was Daud Abdullah the inspiration for this rubber mask used in the Bo Selecta TV series? We really ought to be told.

It now seems that a court will have decide whether he was lying or not, for Abdullah is suing Hazel Blears, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, for libelously suggesting that he supported such attacks.

After Abdullah signed the declaration, the Government broke off relations with the MCB, relations between Blears and the MCB turned distinctly hostile, and a war of words has raged around the issue for weeks.

Then, it was reported this weekend that a spokesperson for the Department for Communities and Local Government had acknowledged:

We have received correspondence from Dr Daud Abdullah’s solicitors.

We have been in dialogue with the MCB since March 6 seeking clarification of the actions taken by Dr Abdullah in relation to the serious issues raised by the articles in the Istanbul Declaration.  We are concerned with those articles which appear to call for violence and Dr Abdullah’s repeated unwillingness to distance himself from those articles specifically.

The legal route that Dr Abdullah has chosen to take despite our offer of further private dialogue with the MCB to resolve the matter means this will now be taken forward by solicitors.

  1. This could backfire on him in a big way, and I hope it does in a spectacular fashion. Seems quite common these days for religious nutcases to take aggressive legal action when their conduct is questioned, I hope that our government doesn’t roll over and play appeasement in this case.

  2. Unlike ‘Birdshit’, whatever happens, there’ll be Saudi money in the background, and in the foreground, he’ll say he’s broke and demand legal aid, so he’s bomb proof really.

If the government look like they are winning, someone in the House Of Lords (no names) will threaten a mob of 10,000 rioters or an unnamed foreign power run by the arab death cult, will threaten to cancel a defence contract.

Whatever happens, the UK Government, in its normal cowardly manner, will back off and Daud Abdullah will get LOADS of compensation for having had his feelings hurt.

    Ho Hum.

  3. Ah Islam, the religion of victimhood.
I don’t think there’s any doubt that he signed the paper so what’s his fucking problem?

  4. I’m sure the government doesn’t actually want to take away a Muslim’s right to massive payouts from the taxpayer. The government wants to take away everybody else’s rights to everything else, but not that little bit of multi-culti(e) appeasement/Danegeld.

  5. What’s that smell?

  6. Don’t panic, chrsbol, I’ve disinfected the place, and the turds left by the brainless fucking idiot Bob have been elimimated.

    newspaniard,

Unfortunately, I would have to say that I think you’re right. The saudi’s, and others equally as vile, have too much influence in this country and many others. He probably WILL end up getting a huge payout after this but maybe that’s just the government’s way of giving these turds money through the back door so to speak, whilst at the same time trying to make it look like they’re not bending over backwards to give muslims everything they want including handing our country to them on a fuckin plate!

Let’s hope that somehow, someone in government is actually serious about this. It’s time that people like him, who live amongst us yet call for violence against us and call for Britain to be an islamic country, were treated they way they should be. As enemies.

  8. The government breaking off relations with the MCB, who seemed to have become some sort of official “voice of moderate islam” (male ‘moderate’ islam anyway, women should shut up and walk 3 paces behind of course. That’s not sexist, just our deeply-held cultural tradition), is a positive step anyway. Even if they will inevitably go crawling back. Though hopefully they will forget to take thier shoes off.

  9. As an atheist, and humanitarian, I hope that Islam will just fuck off and die.

As a believer in equality I hope that Hazel Blears will do likewise.

  10. U people sayig u wish that Islam must Fuck off & die out WHO are the ones actually seeking & Declearing violance not anyone else!
    This’s insane & not fair
    FUCK OFF

  11. I HAVE TO AGREE BUT HOPEFULLY WHEN BLEARS GOES
SHE WILL TAKE THE REST OF THE RATS NEST WITH HER
