We need to follow suit on this side of the pond as with these states. Civil partnerships are a bit of an insult, lets be honest. Different but equal aint fuckin' equal at the end of the day, and I don't want to be married, in inverted commas, I want to be fuckin' married.

Leave it to Vermont and Iowa to be the most progressive states in the nation, shame on us here in California for passing Prop 9. Whether you call it Gay Marriage or Civil Union, the basic premise is that every person should have equal rights. So, I guess we can expect devastating hurricanes hitting Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Iowa this year as gods response. Don’t hold your breath though.
