This site contains a whole lot of name calling and verbal bashing, but lacks any substance concerning a rebuttal of Ken's claims. Both fundamentalists and liberals often resort to name calling and fail to truly debate. Both sides are claiming absolute truth, as all humans do, but fail to look at the evidence from an objective position. I'm not sure if it's possible for most people. I guess it's sorta like politics, keep the name calling and blaming up and we won't have to consider the evidence/facts.

Ever heard of Pascal's Wager? No, ofcourse you haven't.

What makes you think it is either no afterlife or the christian one? Maybe you'll end up in Niflhel? Or Ahura Mazda might smite you for believing in a false god. What limited imagination christians have.

Hi there scoffers,

I like the cartoon that shows an aetheist standing outside the pearly gates of heaven with a great big sign that says, NO aetheists admitted. And what does the cartoon aetheist say, "I don't believe it" That for me sums up the whole philosophy of aetheists they just don't believe it.

Well if you depresssing aetheists are right & there is no after life we will all be in the same boat figuratively speaking but if you are wrong then you will have the whole of eternity in the lake of fire to contemplate the error of your ways. All you have to do is cross the barrier of death & you will have the proof you so richely deserve!
He who laughs last, laughs the loudest, TICK TOCK TICK TOCK

Jog on, rat bait!!!

When it comes down to the creationist argument that the world was created six to ten thousand years ago with the appearance of being far older already built in, you can put them on the spot by pointing out that if you follow that line of thinking you can't prove that the world wasn't created yesterday along with what you believe to be your memories of your entire life.

I would actualy pay to see Dr Lisle, debate astrophysics from a biblical perspective with the likes of Prof, Penrose/Hawking. Celestial spheres aside, presumably he can't even believe in the speed of light, unless he claims that the universe as we see it is a mural painted by god for our amusement.... But if the can use that argument why not just say fossils were put in the ground by god/Satan to test believers faith or something? I'd have thought that people who believe in the literal word of the bible would not have even thought of trying their hand at palaeontology, still there is no accounting for stupidity.

Does anyone know how they treat the (presumably thorny) issue of the other hominids? boat-building not up to scratch maybe....

A bit rich of Ken Ham moaning about an organisation which "has as its sole purpose to counter creationist efforts wherever they can and to uphold evolution", given that AiG's sole purpose is to counter evolutionist (sic) efforts wherever they can and uphold creationism. (That appears to be two sole purposes, but that's Creationist maths for you).

As for atheists having no basis for right or wrong, what's God's basis for right and wrong? If, ultimately things are good or bad because God says so, murder would have been good had God said so and neighbourliness bad. Some basis for morality, that!

Do you think that the dinosaur exhibits in this museum attempt to explain what God actually created them for? To give a future project called 'Mankind' something to marvel over and make films about in tens of millions of years time?

Aahh... makes yer proud to be British dunnit?

Seriously, though, most of the world's politicians would shit themselves if they had to face John Humphries on the Today program. The thought of actually having to defend—rather than trumpet—their views makes them go all brown-trousered.

And that Larry King is a twat, as well.

I'd never trust anyone who'd think it normal to have a stupid beard under their chin like ken ham for a start.

Him and his demented aussie mate Jon Mackay - are vile corrupt scum who prey on the stupid and vulnerable to fund their contemptible lies.

Funny though - that museum. I'd love to go!

They think the Flintstones is a documentary.
