Yes, and I was also fond of the later group Milli Vanilli, and played their tapes a lot when I still had a cassette player in my car! They were another product of the infamous Frank Farian, though we didn`t realize it at the time. THEY were complete fakes, whereas Boney M were only partly fakes! ( It was a bit like vanity publishing really, as poor old Frank didn`t have what it took to front a group!!). We were told at the time that Rob Pilatus had committed suicide over it all, but I see that they are now saying that he "accidentally overdosed on prescription drugs." Whatever the case it completely destroyed his life. Very sad!

Hmm. Well barrie, each to his (or her) own. Musical taste is very personal and, with a few notible exceptions, no one can really criticise anyone for what they like. I like a fairly wide range of music and there are probably a few surprizes in there. Basically, if I like it, I like it.

You obviously have much more progresive tastes to mine, Godless! I used to like Abba and Boney M, and my favourites were probably The Seekers. Every time I hear Judith Durham start to sing the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!!

Come on barrie!! The sixties and early seventies were brilliant times for music! I like lots of newer stuff too but there was some fantastic music around in those days. I was just listening to Sabbath Bloody Sabbath yesterday (it was Sunday after all and I do like to keep the Sabbath). Excellent!!! What about Zeppelin, all the jazz rock and progressive rock, bands like Soft Machine, Focus etc etc. They don't do rock like they used to anymore

It's also funny how they don't complain about atrocities committed against muslims and others during the day to day running of the nation of islam; beheadings, limbs hacked off, stoning to death, torture, rape, paedophilia… the list of crimes against humanity goes on and on and on…..
