The Jesus that you are referrig to, while not german is close to Hitler’s idea of an aryian. Therefore you are racist. Nevertheless, it is an American cartoonist writing for a mostly American audience. This is an audience steeped in Christian symbols that are part of our common culture. Americans are also familiar with Judaism and even Buddhism (thanks, hippies!) but Islam is still mostly an unknown quantity and has made no impact yet on the American culture. Don't ask a writer (or a cartoonist) to write about a subject he knows little about.

Actually, I shall be right there with you up in them clouds, Sister Talitha, enjoying the sufferings of all those stubborn, stiff-necked, unbelieving, unrepentant Hell-bound sinners, who so wilfully continued in their evil ways, spurning the loving overtures of our Dear Lord Jesus Christ (praise His Holy Name!), whose only wish was to see their poor souls saved!! This is because He wrote my name down, along with yours, in His Book of Life, LOOOOOOOOONG before this old world was created; but He didn`t write THEIR names down, so WE know that our eternal future is secure, whereas THEY are doomed, and Amen to that!!!
