LAST month, after learning about Avon and Somerset Constabulary’s barmy attempt at pandering to Muslims by sticking women police officers in hijabs, we asked:
What next? Burquas?
At the time we were unaware that policewomen in burquas had already been done!
According to this report, three women police officers spent a day in full Muslim dress “as part of a scheme to improve community understanding” in Sheffield.
Two sergeants and a community support officer dressed in head-to-foot burqas and other traditional clothing and went out shopping.

The move was part of a police initiative dubbed “In Your Shoes” which place in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
But it has attracted strong criticism from onlookers.
Matthew Elliott, of the Taxpayers’ Alliance, said:
This is an absurd diversion from real policing. People want the police out catching criminals, not indulging in politically correct gimmicks. The police are overstretched as it is without officers being paid to do other things than their real job.
Douglas Murray, director of the Centre for Social Cohesion, added:
This has nothing to do with crime. Like most people who have been a victim of crime, I am amazed and flabbergasted that they have solved all the crimes so they can spend a day playing dressing-up games.
I did not know it was the job of police to see how people feel. I thought it was their job to solve crimes. This is a fantastic demonstration that for the last ten years the British police have been having an institutional nervous breakdown. They do not know what their job or their role is.
The clothes-swapping day took place earlier this year in Sheffield town centre and followed a similar event in Barnsley.
The officers wore brightly-coloured traditional Muslim outfits and a full-length black jilbab plus a niqab, which covers the face leaving slits for eyes.
Sergeant Deb Leonard, who wore some of the clothing, described her experience in a South Yorkshire Police in-house magazine.
She said:
I have gained an appreciation and understanding of what Muslim females experience when they walk out in public in clothing appropriate to their beliefs. We are keen to gain a better understanding of issues which our communities face.
No one from South Yorkshire Police was available to comment.
But the in-house magazine added:
The exercise is just one of many activities South Yorkshire Police has planned with communities and ethnic minority leaders to secure strong relationships, celebrate diversity and encourage integration, working towards a safer, closer society.

Hmm…I think I could get behind this effort to understand Islam if the Islamic community would reciprocate, having woman who normally wear burqas wear regular clothes and tour with cops for a day, but it is clear that the Islamic community makes no such concessions and has no such desire to “understand” the non-Muslim British society.

This is an utter waste of taxpayers money, particularly at at time when women in another (muslim) country are flogged for wearing trousers.
As a women, I am ashamed that any police women would go along with this farce, and angry that any authority would ask them to do so.

Miss Hussein, who is in her 30s, was arrested in a Khartoum restaurant with 12 other women by Sudan's Public Order police for wearing " indecent clothing".
Ten of the women – some of them Christians from southern Sudan to whom such laws should not apply – accepted a punishment of 10 lashes each.

There's quite a difference between wearing it for dress-up and wearing it because you'll become the victim of an "honor-killing" if you don't. I don't see how this little project of theirs accomplishes anything.

May I suggest that the comments posted here be forwarded to the police departments and town councils of the cities in question? The comments are all very appropriate for the situation, and who knows, they might help these people realize the sheer idiocy of their actions. I wonder if the citizens of these towns are aware of the fact, or even care, that their police departments are making complete asses of themselves and their entire town as well.
If I wasn’t laughing my ass off at these imbeciles, I would probably be crying at this depressing foolishness.

I am a Satanist as well and our Holy Book is The Haunting of Toby Jugg by Dennis Wheatley. Also, support guidance The Devil Rides Out and so on. I have written to my local MP and he has been most sympathetic. Or, you could try Charles Windsor, as he is keen to embrace all the faiths.

Other reports of this lunacy say that the policewomen found that people were staring at them in the streets. Which, we are told, the burqas were designed to stop in the first place. I trust that they have reported back that they are ineffective and that Muslim women would be well advised to avoid them.

What’s all this cobblers? It’s plain to see that political correctness and multiculturalism have all but destroyed what Britain once was. This is nothing more than a polite surrender to a barbaric, 7th century cult in the name of “community relations.” How about Muslim women dressing in normal clothes to show an “appreciation” of how the rest our women can get through their lives without wearing mobile tents? Or is that racist?

do you think it would be ok to have naked women on an adv for a car, is that really respecting women, or would it be ok to invade Islamic countries, rape their women, kill their children, demolish their infrastructure and kill millions of women and children to enforce your so free stinker ideas, would that full fill your dreams of an open minded, peaceful nation.
Not only you don’t believe in a Creator but you also want to silence people and only have your opinions forced on them. I have an advice for you. Instead of just sitting down on your butt and just moan about everything that differs with your sick and extreme nonsense, get up and face the fact that there are other nations living with you in this planet.
Oh another thing, you might find it useful if you study the history of Islam and Muslims to find out how much they’ve contributed to society and the UK and you’ll find that while you’re just sitting down and moaning all the time they’ve contributed in science, medicine, justice, PEACE and many many other acts that you will not even think about because you too busy moaning. while you just want to create more isolation, crime, adultery, rape, bloodshed, narrow thinking and many other evil things that I’m sure someone like you can’t think of anything else..
