the act by these men in afganistan are shocking. Islam was brought into this world in order to correct such acts. Many of these people have no education or understanding. They are not muslims and they have no idea what it means to be a muslim. Many people in the west live in christian countries but they have no idea about their religion. It is very important to use our education to first reseach for ourselves, what it means to follow Islam; find out the facts before we let our anger bring us to conclusions about the world most growing religion. Conclusions which are ill founded and have no grounding.

This programme was very upsetting and discgusting. But just because this has been highighted in a country where the religion is Islam. This does not mean that these people even know what it means to be a muslim.

This is a global cultural phenomenon … It’s always existed in every ( or almost every) culture including our precious Western culture. Look up Pederasty. A simple Google will do. And lest we become too self righteous with our religion or philosophy lets remember Aristotle and the Roman Catholic church. I would call mneither uncivilized/barbaric etc. Greeks Romans Japanese Africans Native Americans effectively justified this behavior using religion, philosophy morality and upbringing ( i.e. a good way to teach a young man) tradition… you name it… Lets not act surprised when we discover that Afghan men are as horny as all other men throughout time and none of these other cultures wore burkas ( I think togas are pretty hot myself) . Granted the west is closer to demonizing this behavior ntirely but its only been 20 or so years of our official and authority approved disgust….

It was obvious that excluding premarital sex was going to result in this sort of activity.. What one wonders is…… maybe that is why the locking up of women occurs…so there is an excuse for this shite..
Of course it is true that in the western world a man cant be sure if his kids are actually his…so I can see what the muslim guys are on about…however we have dna matching now so u shouldnt need to worry about that.. unless of course the law is stupid enough to deny dna testing as an invasion of privacy…lets screw over the good guys again yeahhh. Us.

Please just let me know why would the act of some crazy retard afghans is been compared to islam or any religion, and most of the individuals commenting here hardly know about islam.

This type of act is present in almost ever society and culture and its an immoral act and practice and islam actually condemned this practice.

To “meda” u said u r disgusted with islam , then mam u know nothing abt islam u might have a bad experience with some muslim individual or a group, u dont actually find many practicing muslims around these days.

Or if u insist your opinion is right abt islam then also get disgusted with christianity etc bcoz even christians are involved in immoral avtivities murders robberies rapes child abuse , catholic or any other form christian or hindus or jews.

To “fahimkamran”: I am so disgusted by Islam, or at least the Islam I have seen. As a WOMAN, I would be considered as of value as a donkey by so called “superior men” which are in actuality FAR LOWER in morals/conduct than women. If you are trying to “influence” someone of the “value” of your religion/beliefs PLEASE INSPECT them thoroughly for HYPOCRISY before doing so- not only for the sake of others, but for the sanctity of your own “soul”!!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems to me “religion” has some wierd struggle w/ “control” over others–true religion would be LOVE and CONCERN for others. I wonder if these DOGS in this culture and the Catholic system are just trying to be the “top hog” after they themselves have been subjected to this filth and are trying to regain their “dominance” so they don’t have to go through it again??? My husband was in the Navy over in the Middle East and he said that homosexual behavior amoung them is very common and yet they say it is an abomination and hate us for it and call us “infidels”?!??!?!! seems to me pot shouldn’t call kettle black–

I feel so sorry for the women and children over there…if only you could reach them somehow with TRUE COMPASSION and CONCERN …:(

Bacha Bazi began in Kandahar, which is a tribal region. It is most common in Kandahar and Baghlan! And by the way the Taliban had their own bacha bazi which they did in private!! They not only took young girls away from their families but also took away young boys never to be seen! Not all Taliban did that but some. As an ethnic Afghan myself I can’t stand most Afghan people. I don’t like most of their traditions and their ways.

It is quite clear that hiding women behind veil would render men being attractive to other men, the very people they are able to look at daily.

This is why prisoners engage in homosexual sex and priests prey on little boys withhout being gay.
Men and women should be able to interact with each other daily or else the male essence becomes confused and this takes of the sting of wanting and desiring females.

One other thing that I find very clumsy among muslims is the preference for male dancers and not female ones.

Islam is such a masculine religion that in its essence of obscuring women and rendering them invisible, Muslim men are effeminate.

There is a complete and natural balance between men and women.
