THE FUNERAL took place earlier today of a radical Detroit mosque leader who was shot in an exchange of gunfire with FBI agents this week.
Luqman Ameen Abdullah, 53, was fatally shot inside a suburban warehouse on Wednesday after firing at agents while resisting arrest. According to this report, the FBI wanted him on charges of weapons violations and conspiracy to sell stolen goods. He was one of 11 people named in a criminal complaint.
According to the FBI, Abdullah was a leader of a national radical Sunni group that wants to create an Islamic state within the US.
That Islamic state, investigators said, would be ruled by Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, formerly known as H Rap Brown, who is serving a life sentence for killing two Georgia police officers.

But members of Abdullah’s mosque claim that was a caring man who followed the tenets of his Islam faith. They dismissed as “utterly preposterous” the allegations that he was part of a radical group.
Imam Talib Abdur-Rashid of New York told mourners at the Muslim Center in Detroit:
We ask Allah to reward him with the promised reward of those who are martyred.
Meanwhile, the last two of the 11 defendants wanted in connection with the investigation were arrested today in Windsor, Ontario. Authorities said Mohammad Philistine, 33, and Yassir Ali Khan, 30, were taken into custody without incident.
Both are charged with conspiring to sell stolen goods.

That’s 2 countries.

What are these people doing living in a western democracy if they would prefer to live in an Islamic state? Maybe they are not aware that there are lots of Islamic states available to go and live in and so spend all there time in Europe and the US making a nuisance of themselves.
Jamil there is going to be in charge when Islam conquers the USA is he? Just like seventeen year old Stonyground is going to have a Laverda Jota (See earlier post about Buckingham Palace being turned into a mosque).

Stoneyground. Good question. I wonder if the answer lies in the search for oecumenicalsm? We all have to get together and be friends – atheists excepted of course. Trouble is that religious oecumenicalism means “I know my superstition is right and if you don’t agreee you will be in horrible trouble.”
I am a fan of Michel de Montaigne (The Essays) and this is one of my favourite comments from them : “After all, it is to put a very high value on your surmises to roast a man alive for them.”
Writing in the 1580′s there was added point to the comment as you might well end up to your arse in dry brushwood with a priest heading towards you with a lighted taper. Looking at what is happening today under sharia law I am not sure we have made a great deal of progress.

Stonyground. I am told that many of the leading lights in the muslim world are happy to get to some of the fleshpots of Europe. There they enjoy a hedonism far beyond what I would either experience or wish. These hypocrites float along on a sea of oil and, I suppose, when they leave their villas, alcohol, women etc they willl return to lecture the peasants on the need to be strict muslims.

A two year sting. Over 20 pages of excerpts of conversations in the special agent Leone affidavit. Lots of extreme views. Lots of talk about shooting and kicking ass. Take of “offensive jihad” and claims of creating a separatist Islamic state. And so what was the incident about? Stolen furs. Are you serious? We have a global war on terror going on and our only domestic anti-terror agency sinks 2 years into alleged fur coat thieves? Did the feds bring their best case? If not, why not? Also, with regard to some of the comments, I’m not sure I know much about the leading lights in the European flesh pot and what that has to do with the 1.2 billion Muslims who live all across the globe.
