Jesus as a root vegetable?

Well, first there’s an Old Testament prophecy:
“For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He hath no form or comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.” Isaiah 53:2

Then there’s a sign:
“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” (Matthew 12:38-41)

Of course, sceptical freethinkers such as yourselves will not be convinced by the above PROOFS FROM GOD’S HOLY WORD (oops, the Caps Lock key got stuck…) and will most likely resort to miquoting the words of our Lord at Matthew 6:34: “Take no thought for the marrow”.

As most Christians are sheep (they are referred to as a flock after all) perhaps it is appropriate for them to be cauliflowers. It is a species of cabbage after all
