UGANDA’S Ethics and Integrity Minister Nsaba Buturo has indicated that a planned Anti-Homosexual Bill may have its death sentence provision dropped. A life sentence may be imposed instead, which would give the authorities time to “cure” gay men and women.
Buturo said:
There have been a lot of discussions in government…regarding the proposed law, but we now think a life sentence could be better because it gives room for offenders to be rehabilitated. Killing them might not be helpful.
An anti-gay protest in Uganda
In recent weeks, Uganda has been facing intense criticism from Western government officials and religious leaders. Most recently, five religious Republican lawmakers wrote a letter to Ugandan President Yoweri Musaveni urging him to block the legislation, although they added that they still believe marriage is an institution between one man and one woman.
Meanwhile, Box Turtle Bulletin has learned through exclusive video provided by a BTB reader that the Secretary General of Uganda’s main opposition party has announced that the party would oppose the proposed Anti-Homosexuality Bill that is now before Parliament.
In an announcement carried by Uganda’s independent Record TV, Secretary General Chris Opoka of the Uganda Peoples Congress (UPC) denounced the bill as discriminatory, saying:
The state has no business with what people do in their bedrooms …What two consenting adults do, the state has no business… absolutely! It is discriminatory. Me, I don’t understand this idea of ‘African values’. Was [Ugandan King] Mwanga not a homosexual …? Let’s stop this nonsense! It is natural!
Ah, Mwanga! – a name designed to send Britain’s barmiest Christian, Stephen “Birdshit” Green, who has come out in support of gay genocide in Uganda, into a carpet-chewing rage.

King Mwanga retaliated against despicable Christian missionaries
Green’s lip-smacking desire to see gays executed in Uganda apparently stems from a thirst for vengeance for the execution of a bunch of meddlesome missionaries who attempted to destabilise Mwanga’s rule.
On his failing Christian Voice website, the pathetic loony claims that a pro-gay law once existed in Uganda that:
Required all men and boys in Uganda to be willing to submit to the homosexual seduction of its ruler, King Mwanga.
Green then quotes fellow homo-hating twat Scott Lively, who wrote:
When Ugandans began to convert to Christianity in the 1880s, a group of Catholics, led by Charles Lwanga, refused to allow themselves to be sodomized by the King. Enraged, King Mwanga had them torturously bound, marched 37 miles and then roasted alive in a fire pit. The date of their execution was June 3, 1886, and is today a national holiday commemorating Uganda’s rejection of homosexuality and commitment to Christian values.
You can read our more accurate account of Mwanga’s actions against the foreign Christian interlopers here.
Lively adds:
It should be no surprise, therefore, that modern Ugandans are very unhappy that homosexual political activists from Europe and the United States are working aggressively to re-homosexualize their nation. Ugandan citizens report a growing number of foreign homosexual men coming to their country to turn desperately poor young men from the slums into their personal houseboys, and that some girls in public schools have being paid to recruit others into lesbianism. Foreign interests have exerted intense pressure on Uganda ’s government to compromise its laws regarding sexual morality, often using their control over foreign aid funding for leverage.
To which Green adds:
The contrast between our politicians and those of Uganda could not be more stark. A Parliamentarian in Uganda is trying to protect his nation’s children. The House of Commons of the United Kingdom is trying to corrupt ours. Which country is the more civilised, I wonder, in the eyes of Almighty God?
He adds:
What is at stake here is no less than Uganda ’s status as a sovereign nation. Will they allow themselves to be bullied by Western secularists, or will they stand by their Christian values and the traditional African way of life?
I hope and pray it will be the latter, and that the Western homosexuals and abortionists who are trying to corrupt their youth will be sent a firm message to stop their wickedness.
Here’s wishing the walking manure magnet a particularly crap Christmas!

Ladies and Gents, and Barry,
What do us atheists wish each other at this time of year?
Whatever the salutation is, have a great 2010.

what the hell does “re-homosexualise” mean? homosexuality can’t be cured, it springs up naturally. when will these fundies leave us gay people alone? it’s bloody ridiculous.

“A Parliamentarian in Uganda is trying to protect his nation’s children.”
Why is always about the children?

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that the place where the most people use their credit cards to pay for phone sex is….the american bible belt!! What a bunch of frustrated bigots who then go to church on Sunday with a smug expression on their face and vociferate against gays and sinners…whatever that is….Ah….one has to laugh I guess. Well, my gay sodomite partner and I wish all of you a wonderful New Year and all the best for 2010 and yes….why not…a Merry Christmas!!!
December 24th, 2009 at 11:57 pm
Oh, man! We might have to rethink this whole thing.

Uganda, obviously. Like every other african country infected with the christianity virus, they are piss-poor and have no future except for bowing down to kiss god’s ass and killing each other for food

The original problem, of course, lies with kings. Little earthly tyrannical “kings” or little earthly tyrannical types who claim to be acting on behalf of Big Sky-Dwelling Kings. May the birds shit on all their shoulders.

Killing a few politicians might be “helpful”. And I agree with @rog: what on earth were the BBC thinking about with that stupid poll?
December 25th, 2009 at 10:40 am
“…….protect his nation’s children” That’s a bit rich considering the disproportionate number of kiddie fiddlers in the church hierarchy.
December 25th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
Happy Christmas to all!

@barriejohn yes running a poll entitled ‘Should homosexuals face execution?’ was utterly idiotic, I can not understand what the possibly hoped to achieve.
December 25th, 2009 at 2:01 pm
Bet they wouldn’t dare run a poll asking: “Should BBC bosses’ wages be slashed?”
December 25th, 2009 at 5:35 pm
@Kurbster
>>…kiss god’s ass..
Nie, nie, nie! That’d be “sin” punishable by death, or in case it “might not be helpful”, life imprisonment in Uganda
December 25th, 2009 at 9:30 pm
@Rational Fool
oh….I see what you did here
Anyways, I’m trying to keep my sanity this 25th. Not only is this usually the low point for my seasonal depression, I can’t even be left alone without some gift being thrust upon me. It’s sickening….really…..how the church let this happen to their “holiest” of holidays.
Do you blame them? Any company wishes to whore themselves out for money (they gotta pay for their pedophile lawsuits somehow)

“re-homosexualize”
What a word!
“Which country is the more civilised, I wonder, in the eyes of Almighty God?
Well, given the morals esposed by the god of the Old Testament, I rather hope I’m not living in his idea of a civilised country.
December 26th, 2009 at 11:29 am
Behold! The results of Christianity. If only we could develop a vaccine.
December 27th, 2009 at 8:08 am
Yup, here here, a vaccine for the religous bigots, toss my hat into that one!!
December 27th, 2009 at 2:38 pm
And while they concentrate on the massacre of homosexuals, let’s hope they don’t lose sight of the problems posed by starvation and AIDS wiping out the nice straight people.
