MEET devout Christian Jack Lewis. He is 70-year-old basket-case British artist who paints classic cars – and he is convinced that the British National Party will reverse a trend that has deliberately set out to marginalise Christianity in this country over many years.

Jack Lewis
Writing on Premier Christian Radio’s community forum, our Jack says:
Before deciding which party to vote for in the 2010 General Election, as Christians, our priority must be to carefully weigh-up which of the parties will do the most to protect our freedom to practice our Christian faith …
This question was never really necessary in previous General Elections as it is today. We have seen how previous Governments over the previous 40 years and New Labour, over the last 10 years, set up a whole raft of immoral and anti-Christian laws and regulations.
Christianity is no longer a sacrosanct way of life. We have a Government that is obsessed with homosexually (sic) and political correctness and would like to teach children as young as seven what anal and aural (sic) sex is under the guise of ‘sex education’.
He adds:
Under Labour’s new equality laws, Christians are going to be sitting-duck targets for atheists … However there is a political party that openly supports Christianity and its values and that is the BNP. The problem with this suggestion is that the BNP is perceived as being racist. The BNP has been demonized by the media who in turn have convinced the public into believing that they are racist. This is just simply not true and even if it was true, would that be harder to have to live with than what we have to put with today?
There is more – much more – of this garbage here.

the government obsessed by homosexuality? no. i think it’s the religeous fundies who are obsessed with it. they’re always banging on about gay people. not the government. them. it’s always mystefied me why bible/koran/torah thumpers are so obsessed with us gays. we’re no danger to them. it’s so mad.
December 30th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
How many germans, in 1932, made this same false rationalization and then voted for the NSDAP? We worry about the enemies outside when we should be concerned about these enemies within. Feel that christian love (once again)…
December 30th, 2009 at 12:57 pm
Aural sex, sounds a bit kinky to me! You’d think with all the rest of the trouble in the World – mainly caused by religion – twats like this would have better things to do rather than whinge about people like me. The reason the BNP is pro christian is because they are anti islam.
December 30th, 2009 at 1:06 pm
I had a Cairn Terrier that was extremely keen on Aural Sex with other dogs in the Kennington Park run. But I didn’t realise it had made it on to the school curriculum…
December 30th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
“Aural sex”
Pardon?
December 30th, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Aural sex is when you hear the people next door arguing about it, also known as Thin Wall Syndrome.
But it’s great to hear the BNP is now our Christian party. If anything can totally scupper religion in this country, it’s a strong link with homophobic fascism, I reckon. Also, the press will probably do their usual superficial but fun investigation of ‘words and deed’, and find that no only do most BNP members never go near a church, but that most of the few that do tend to focus on nicking the silverware and the lead on the roof.
December 30th, 2009 at 1:20 pm
All I can say is LOL!!! At least get the terminology correct!!
December 30th, 2009 at 1:21 pm
If I were an alien from another planet I would look at the major 3 religions on Earth and be convinced that their Credo is: money, sex whether gay or straight, money, condoms, money, contraception, money, etc. In other words all they seem to be concerned with…the great majority of them anyways…is sex and money! It’s all black or white…. like the difference between Mother Theresa and Ratzinger!
December 30th, 2009 at 2:08 pm
Wasnt aural sex on Television X about 10 years ago with some, slightly hot MILF talking dirty?
I am impressed it has made it into school, never had that in my day we just gossiped and made shit up but that might have been one of the effects of a single sex school.
As for voting for the BNP…. Wow, the man is racist, deluded and uneducated. Good Christian really..
December 30th, 2009 at 2:28 pm
Aural sex? I like the sound of that!
December 30th, 2009 at 2:31 pm
What do you think of when you look at the cross and the crucifix? Do they hold sacred and religious value for you?
After reading Ogechukwu’s book, your perception may change; the church’s use of these symbols has, for centuries, concealed facts regarding their true origins. Ogechukwu reveals those findings in this stunning expose.
His research includes historical accounts of Christianity’s conspiracy and divulges the true meaning of the cross—a satanic symbol.
Ogechukwu states:
“For centuries after Christ, the church and other religions that use cruciform symbols have misrepresented the physical nature of Christ’s death with a satanic symbol (cross), and a pagan idol (corpus). This secret has been concealed by the church for centuries after Christ.”
What reason did the church have for shifting the cross’ meaning from one of evil to one of goodness?
This easy to read, enlightening and academically sound book regarding the symbolism and meaning of the cross leads to a stunning conclusion. Learn more about the real nature of Christ’s death and religion’s role in the change in symbolism. Ogechukwu wants to reveal the truth in hopes of releasing humankind from what he calls the “painful knowledge bondage†of cruciform propaganda at http://www.eloquentbooks.com/T.....uifix.html

I think aural sex is probably when someone comes up to you and shouts “FUCK YOU!” in your ear. I expect he gets a lot of this.
December 30th, 2009 at 2:46 pm
It’s very worrying that the BNP “is being perceived as being racist.” I really don’t know how that misunderstanding occurred!
December 30th, 2009 at 2:57 pm
Holy Moly! I read his blog and decided not to comment ‘cos he was so far down the irrational path it would have been pointless.
December 30th, 2009 at 3:17 pm
@Normand: are you implying that Mother Teresa was the one interested in the money, whereas Pope Benelux is the one who is interested in the sex? I wasn’t quite sure of your meaning there. I do hope you are not suggesting that that old witch Agnes was the saintly one! See

Just what the hell does he mean “Christians sitting duck targets for Atheists”? He must think we want to shoot them

barriejohn, your link is being flagged as an attack site by my anti virus prog, beware.

Isn’t aural sex what one has on these sex chat lines?
Or maybe it’s when someone goes into one of those little boxes in churches and tells the fella in the frock on the other side of the curtain ALL about their dirty sinful lives!!
If the BNP is about being christian then I shall have no trouble placing my X next to anything but their party.
December 30th, 2009 at 4:28 pm
Jack Lewis really does come across as a complete nutter in the comments that follow his ludicrous article. I’m still ploughing through them – very entertaining in an appalling train-wreck sort of way.
December 30th, 2009 at 4:54 pm
Blimey, “Mad” Jack Lewis even spammed the discussion of his blog article. What a pathetic deluded racist.
December 30th, 2009 at 6:35 pm
@Alan C. I’m using MacAfee and I don’t see any warnings, so I don’t know what to think about that!
December 30th, 2009 at 7:46 pm
@nwaocha ogechukwu: I don’t think that the cross and the crucifix are going to hold much “sacred and religious value” to people on an atheistic and rationalist site!
December 30th, 2009 at 8:41 pm
In the last century alone the link between extreme right wing politics and religion has never bode well for sane people: ie Bush and the American fundies, Mussolini and the Catholic church, and Oswald Mosley and the Union Movement.
In particular the comment made by sailor1031 ref NSDAP is unnervingly accurate.
It’s a sad state when people will vote in the BNP in order to maintain their spiritual superiority.
December 30th, 2009 at 10:12 pm
I read the article in question about Mother Theresa and frankly I have read negative stuff like that before whether about Dr. Schweitzer and his “unsanitary” operating room, etc. but it was not written by people who had left their comfortable lifestyles to work among the poor which no one can deny she did as did Schweitzer. It’s easy to criticize from afar. I have friends of Indian descent who have been to India and they did not agree with that article at all. I’m against organized religion as it has become but I will never paint everyone with the same brush otherwise it’s being like Falwell who would smack his lips hard enough to make his triple chin quiver like Jello as if he and only he had the truth. I can’t judge her and who can because after all none of us are perfect and as for the truth…well, is there such a thing as absolute truth?
December 30th, 2009 at 10:44 pm
I look forward to more of Mr Lewis’s work in 2010.
‘[A]s Christians we have to live in a very secular world’ is one of the most self-pitying pieces of fiction I have ever read, and the last thing image-conscious fundies need is a Christian in the media praising the BNP with cannonfire as the religion’s saviour!
December 31st, 2009 at 9:02 am
I like the way he says he quoted Michael Foster MP (on the full post on his site). However, it is obvious he has quote mined it from an unreferenced article about something that Michael Foster said. The only part of it that could have been said by him are simply the words “lining up”. He could have been referring to lots of different people but as Christians have a persecution complex, they probably thought he was singling them out.
December 31st, 2009 at 9:04 am
Well, if we can’t judge other people’s actions because we’re not perfect ourselves we ARE going to get into a state, aren’t we? Another pointless platitude that sounds good but gets us nowhere! I deal in facts, myself, and I remember Mother Teresa being asked by a TV reporter, who obviously had no idea what he was in for, what the reaction should be to the appalling Bhopal disaster. She literally screamed back at the unfortunate miscreant: “FORGIVE!!!”. What an idiotic reply! She was either stark, staring bonkers or an extremely wicked old woman. Where is the hospital in India, founded in her name, to treat those poor people whose plight was supposed to be her concern? The wicked old crone actually thought that poverty and pain are “gifts” from God to enable people to share in the sufferings of Christ, and said so on numerous occasions. What a twisted mind she must have had!

Robert,
what you failed to share however, is that every single person that replied to JackBoots thread, completely disagreed with him,and he was challenged very strongly.

@nwaocha ogechukwu Re: cruciform propaganda
Sorry to disappoint you. This is not new:
A community gathered around a life size image of a tortured man nailed to an Ankh with its head chopped off?
Lots of men in black floor length dresses getting drunk and eating sacrificial human flesh?
Flagellation and torturing of women/witches and other minorities?
Ignorance and humility being superior virtues among the ‘believing’ rather than pride in knowledge and achievement.
Of course the whole thing is nasty and disgusting. It is just gift wrapped for those who are not interested in looking deeper.
December 31st, 2009 at 10:43 am
Absolutely, BJ — a quick YouTube search for ‘Hell’s Angel’ should turn up Hitchens’ documentary on the old witch.
” ….that [the BNP] are racist. This is just simply not true and even if it was true, would that be harder to have to live with than what we have to put with today?”
Quoted for…for..for… I just give up.
December 31st, 2009 at 12:01 pm
Ref Mother Teresa – Read ‘the missionary position’ by Hitchens. It gleefully exposes the wicked old crone for what she was.
December 31st, 2009 at 12:11 pm
I for one welcome this association of the BNP and christianity.
I thought I hated both as much as possible but combined together I can really lothe them!!
A quick search in YouTube will convince anyone with more than one braincell what the BNP are really focused on.
December 31st, 2009 at 12:49 pm

I actually think this docu. is better than the book, which I found a bit thin.
Back to the article:
“have convinced the public into believing that they are racist. This is just simply not true and even if it was true, would that be harder to have to live with than what we have to put with today?”
Highlighted for…for…for… I don’t know what: I don’t think the word’s been invented yet to describe such fuckwittery.
December 31st, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Like the Ku Klux Klan, @abz, they are only “defending Christian values”!
December 31st, 2009 at 1:35 pm
@tony e: Did you know that he almost called the book Sacred Cow, but thought that that might have been going a bit too far – hahaha!!! (Wish he had!)

Well, like Voltaire said: “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” We each have our opinions and that’s the beauty of a site like this where no one foists his beliefs on the other. I admire Hitchens but not everything is black and white and painting mother Theresa and Hitler practically in the same brush stroke, well…..I consider Ratsinger and his clique a bunch of bastards but it does not stop me from admiring some priests, Catholic and United and others, with whom I come in contact here. And getting back to Voltaire maybe he was right ….I say maybe….when he said “If religion did not exist we would have to invent it.” We just did not invent the right one. A Happy New Year to one in all.
December 31st, 2009 at 4:27 pm
Oh, no! If one has sexual intercourse with his wife from the back, then she will deliver a squint-eyed child”! Why did no one warn us about this before?

Are comments being moderated? Mine didn’t show up after posting, hence the double post.

Tim Danaher – cheers for the links.
December 31st, 2009 at 11:32 pm
My above comment was a reply to that of @akhter, before others miraculously intervened! We’ve all seen his comical website before anyway, and why on earth would anyone want to waste their time “answering Christianity”? It’s not as if it has any serious claim to be true! And isn’t the site merely saying “My bullshit’s better than your bullshit” in any case?
January 1st, 2010 at 1:49 am
Yes, but Barriejohn, isn’t your bullshit better than my bullshit ????
Have a nice day!!
January 1st, 2010 at 1:50 am
LOL. I should have said: ” Isn’t my bullshit better than your bullshit.” Lol.
January 1st, 2010 at 10:36 am
Obviously a Freudian slip, @Normand! But have you actually seen that site he mentions? Anyway, I don’t really see your point here, as I gave up dealing in bullshit when I finally saw the light and ditched my evangelical beliefs. I don’t have any “ideology” now, but I’m extremely embarrassed when I look back on my past arrogance and pigheadedness!
January 1st, 2010 at 10:40 am
PS I am particularly amused by their persistent claims that all the answers to modern scientific questions can be found in their revered Koran, only to come out with ludicrous statements like the one I quoted above! (But many Christians make similar claims about the Bible!!)
January 1st, 2010 at 11:29 am
The greatest gift we have is the brain, it’s a shame so many refuse to use it. The religous nutcakes of the world refuse to acknowledge science and it’s discoveries. Why, because it refutes their beliefs!! Better to go with the flow than be against the cult. Christianity is just that, a cult with no basis in reality. Stories told and retold with no witnesses and no evidence based in fact or truth. When will the world see religon for what it is, a way to control the masses and do horrible things to people and keep them dumbed down.
January 1st, 2010 at 7:29 pm
I love your articles, and wish you would publish more Christian articles, it is sure to help get the message across.
You provide free publicity for Christians, well done, and God bless you.
January 1st, 2010 at 7:44 pm
You people think Jack is funny, and Christianity meaningless, but just wait a few years until Islam gets a real grip on our country.
Jack is suggesting we all vote BNP, just to get rid of Islam.
I would have thought you guys would have gone along with that?
Which would you prefer, a good giggle from Jack the Christian, or a fatwah from Islam?
January 1st, 2010 at 8:34 pm
I agree, Mr Curtis, give me the British, Christian, homophobic bigots over the Muslim ones any day!
January 2nd, 2010 at 3:44 am
I would very much like to thank Barry and Dave for drawing attention to my classic spelling error! Wow was I embarrassed when someone pointed it out to me. Of course I realise that the intelligent people who frequent this site would have immediately spotted that it is not ‘aural’ sex that East Sussex C.C. have approved to teach 7 year old children but ‘oral’ sex. It is important that children are not given wrong information. I would also like to thank Barry and Dave for mentioning that I like painting classic cars but they forgot to include my website address which is: http://www.classiccarartist.co.uk I am always looking for ways to get more exposure for my painting. You will also find, on my website, a link to another very interesting website which I’m sure will be of interest to you.
January 2nd, 2010 at 3:54 am
I suggest that Mr. Barriejohn look up the real meaning of ‘phobia’. If he is satisfied with the true meaning then I would coin a new word for this very similar dreadful illness suffered by atheists and that is ‘Religiphobia’.
No only joking! We intelligent people all know that Christians do not have an ‘irrational fear’ of homosexuals however I’m not entirey sure its true of atheists juging by most of the above comments – blast, and I so wanted it to be true as well!
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:18 am
How many UK social reformers were atheists?
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:55 am
Richard Dawkins, home grown atheist of the UK and very much a social reformer. As for a dreadful illness, sorry you are incorrect. We do not have a “phobia” of religion, just a desire to expose the truth, that all religions are fear based and have a history of violence to get people to see there way is the right way. Racism, sexism, oppression and child abuse is rampent in the history of the Christian religions so what values are you talking about????
January 2nd, 2010 at 11:47 am
Yes, JL, and maybe you can tell us what ‘anti christian’ laws have been passed in the UK? I would really like to know which laws that were passed in parliament are ‘anti christian’. I’m very curious about this. Mainly as being an Aussie, I would really like my government to pass some ‘anti christain’ laws too; we could really do with some to shut you pathetic self-pitying whingers up.
Such as: “No christian shall be allowed to speak in public.” something like that law? Is that a law in the UK? I don’t know; you know, you said so. So tell me is there a law in the UK that was passed saying, “No christian shall be allowed to marry and reproduce.” Is that a law?
Or, “No christian shall be allowed to speak without first connecting their brains to their mouths; their mouths to their brains and then connecting both brain and mouth to their ears so that they actually LISTEN to the crap coming out of their own mouths via their brains.”
Has that one been passed?
What bloody ‘anti christian’ laws, man? I need to know so I can lobby my government before our own general election…
January 2nd, 2010 at 1:10 pm
Jack: you either have no idea what you are talking about, or you are being deliberately disingenuous! I was an evangelical Christian for years, and was a closet homosexual all that time, so there is nothing you can teach me about Christian attitudes towards gays. I can tell you that homophobic barely describes their abhorrence of such people. The words I heard all the time were “disgusting”, “perverts”, “abnormal”, “unnatural”, “sick”, and so on. Even if someone “repented” of such behaviour, and vowed to be celibate in future, he or she could never be accepted properly again, and would always be considered “damaged goods” and not to be trusted. The whispering behind people’s backs by these lovely Christians was something to be seen as well! I suppose that undergoing a so-called “gay cure” might have provided a member of the community with a way back, but I doubt that full acceptance would have been possible. (If only there were a “hypocrisy cure” available!!) In any case, you are encouraging Christians to vote for the BNP, and not for kindly Christian candidates, so your outrage at my remarks is glaringly misplaced, as THEY are certainly homophobic, and it was to THEM that I was quite clearly referring!
January 3rd, 2010 at 10:45 am
Well said Barriejohn, a disease that can be cured it what the fundies say!! What about the disease of the Catholic Priests that prey on boys???? The disease is in the religion, not in the people!! You are homophobic and commit more crimes than us, at least we live and let live is our policy……..
January 3rd, 2010 at 12:02 pm
Pro Islam = ANTI CHRIST ?
ZaNuLabour promoting HOMOSEXUALITY in SCHOOLS.
And the true FAR LEFT BIGOTS are here..Showing THEIR INTOLERANCE OF OTHERS under the GUISE of MORALITY.
I see the intolerant haters of everything English/British/Christian and WHITE show us thier MORAL COMPASS by slipping into talking about SEX. And YOU think YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL US WHO WE SHOULD VOTE FOR ?
YOU FASCIST PIGS.
VOTE BNP…..SAVE YOUR CHILDRENS FUTURE..IF NOT YOUR OWN. (Unless your Gay/Lesbian and then you have nothing to say on the MORAL VALUES of FAMILY, CHILDREN or even CHRISTIANITY)
January 3rd, 2010 at 1:00 pm
Hallison
Is Richard Dawkins the only one you can think of?
January 3rd, 2010 at 1:03 pm
Barriejohn
Religiophobia is as accurate as homophobia is for the same reason you give quote:
‘The words I heard all the time were “disgustingâ€, “pervertsâ€, “abnormalâ€, “unnaturalâ€, “sickâ€, and so on.’
The words used by the majority of the people above; are they not just as bad?
January 3rd, 2010 at 2:06 pm
What a load of bollocks, JL! Certain priests may have been described as perverts, which they undoubtedly are, but we are certainly not describing the religious generally as “sick” or “disgusting” – merely misguided and naive. There’s a world of difference!!
January 6th, 2010 at 5:17 pm
Hi Barriejohn,
You can scream as much as you like, homophobia is not a medical condition, if it is then so is Reliophobia. The condition has nothing to do with what sufferers say but what they fear!
April 24th, 2010 at 9:50 pm
Sorry all you ignorant folk! What he really said was, and I quote, ” ORAL” sex, eg ejaculating in the mouth. from the Latin orus, or, the mouth.
