I read Professor Grayling's comments with my usual absorption and pleasure and, at the end, was struck by the thought that as the result of a dictat from a BBC hireling ( paid his grotesque salary from our license fees) the Professor is banned from a single appearance on Thought for the Day. You might care to draw a comparison with the mediocre talents, often underpinned by bigotry, who are so readily welcomed.
