THE latest chapter on the life of rentboy lover Dr George Alan Rekers comes today via Joe.My.God, who imparts the news that Rekers used tell the parents of “effeminate” boys that they could spank the gay out of them. Here’s how one boy was treated:

In 1974, Rekers, a leading thinker in the so-called ex-gay movement, was presented with a 4-year-old ‘effeminate boy’ named Kraig, whose parents had enrolled him in the program. Rekers put Kraig in a ‘play-observation room’ with his mother, who was equipped with a listening device. When the boy played with girly toys, the doctors instructed her to avert her eyes from the child.
According to a 2001 account in Brain, Child Magazine, ‘On one such occasion, his distress was such that he began to scream, but his mother just looked away. His anxiety increased, and he did whatever he could to get her to respond to him… Kraig became so hysterical, and his mother so uncomfortable, that one of the clinicians had to enter and take Kraig, screaming, from the room’. Rekers’s research team continued the experiment in the family’s home. Kraig received red chips for feminine behavior and blue chips for masculine behavior. The blue chips could be cashed in for candy or television time. The red chips earned him a ‘swat’ or spanking from his father. Researchers periodically entered the family’s home to ensure proper implementation of the reward-punishment system.

What the hell is it with godidiots and child abuse? Is it that they are trying to emulate the revolting bully YHWH and children are the only people that they can exercise 100% control over? I am also disgusted with the parents who allow this kind of thing to go on, if he had harmed my child in this way I would have personally wrung his stupid neck.

If I do indeed have children some day, I think I’m going to teach them to defend themselves from a very early age. Random kidnappers and rapists aside, it’s sick twisted bastards like these that I’m going to try to teach them to recognize, though I’m not sure exactly how, I’m afraid. I know, stranger danger an all, but I just think “what if a babysitter turns out to be a loon like this?”

Are you really surprised that someone who believes in talking snakes also believes he’s smarter than evolution? Or does it surprise you that said “expert?” is struggling with his own sexual identity?
Most likely, someone in his childhood put him through similar trials. Someone forced him to choose between who he was and what was socially acceptable. I dont know whether to resent him or feel sorry for him.
Lack of respect for being mental modeling clay. Or feel sad for the one who didn’t escape. But, for all the christian ethics about being honest, too bad that their slaves can’t afford to be honest with themselves.

What a bunch of cruel bastards! Perhaps Rekers should now receive a ‘red chip’ for his behaviour. But then he would probably enjoy a good spanking, so long as it was for the glory of god of course.
My brother back in the 1950′s once threw a tantrum because my dad wanted buy him a train set. He wanted a doll and a pram like his sister. Dad bought him one and he and my sister played happily for hours. He grew up, (butched up!), and has worked in some of the toughest industries you can imagine. Maybe our parents got it wrong and he deserved a good walloping.
We have all handled our childrens’ lives the same way and they are all well rounded, ‘normal’, open-minded atheists.

Of course they then turn around and use the number of suicides by gay people as “evidence” that being gay is bad, and thereby instill more hatred towards us. I long for the day charlatans like them are banned from promoting their hateful quackery as therapy.

If religion were treated like any other product or service, proof of it’s wholesome effects would be required, which is impossible, as most of us know. As long as the state allows these charlatans a free hand, the vulnerable will suffer.
