According to this report, Bradlee Dean, of the loopily-named You Can Run But You Cannot Hide ministry, said that Muslim calling for the execution of gays and lesbians are:
More moral than even the American Christians.
Ranting on a local radio station, Dean said:
Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America. This just shows you they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible of the Judeo-Christian God, but they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination.
He added:
If America won’t enforce the laws, God will raise up a foreign enemy to do just that. The bottom line is this … they [homosexuals] play the victim when they are, in fact, the predator.
Dean then made a claim that has no basis in fact:
On average, they molest 117 people before they’re found out. How many kids have been destroyed, how many adults have been destroyed because of crimes against nature?
If the boy isn’t on drugs, he sure ought to be. There are some pretty powerful anti-psychosis remedies out there that he might like to try.
Mark Knief, president of the Minnesota chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans, said Dean’s words were some of the “most outrageous lies I’ve ever heard.”
He added:
This should be a grave concern with any candidate that is supporting them.
The ministry has become increasingly cozy with Minnesota Republicans. During the past few months, You Can Run has attended two Republican Party of Minnesota events and garnered the support of top Republican officials.
Phil Duran, legal director for OutFront Minnesota, condemned Dean’s statement about executing gays.
It’s pretty shocking to read people criticizing Christians and Americans because they don’t, as a rule, go out and actually kill gay people. There are those who rely on attitudes like this – and attitudes not nearly so extreme – to justify acts of violence, harassment or discrimination, to justify continued exclusion of same-sex couples from the law, to rationalize the imposition of so-called ‘reparative therapy’ to ‘fix’ people, and to oppose safe-schools legislation.
He added:
The question that concerns me is: how many people out there look at comments like this and agree? Hopefully, very few.

Bradlee Dean is dressed up like a singer from an early 80′s British heavy metal band. It was a good look for its time, but now appears naff and a little camp. Bet he’s got a pink shiny nightie in his his wardrobe.
I haven’t heard his band’s music but as a listener that’s all I’d be interested in. Celebrities who try and tell me what to think lose my support. It’s a shame there really are people receptive to the shite peddled by bigots in Dean’s position. Tabloid masses, sheep and homunculi unable to form their own opinions.

Just a thought
The name of Dean’s band, Christian Ministry, would have made them a non-starter with anyone I know. Just to call themselves Christian anything would hint at load of bollocks best avoided.
I suppose his fan base is composed of religiots who share his bigotry anyway so he’s preaching to the converted. No-one sane would pay for this shit so I doubt he’ll be acquiring any new souls.

I was trying to edit my previous post, but without success again! This guy is an absolutely hopeless speaker, as he is so hesitant, and wanders away from what he is saying without getting to the point (someone tell him to listen to Just a Minute, please!), so I may not be following him 100%. From what I can make out, according to HIS logic, by outlawing hate crime against gay people, his government is actually “protecting criminals “, ie gays! So, just because his book of fairy stories says that gay is BAD, anyone who beats up or murders a gay person mustn’t be punisheded, as they are doing “the work of the Lord”. Does he believe in lynching suspected murderers without the benefit of a trial as well? If I have misunderstood this message, please put me right. If not, can someone explain to me why someone so seriously disturbed is allowed to present such warped views to young people? This seems to go far beyond telling people that homosexuality is condemned by the Bible, dangerous though that view might be. Now it is God’s will that you go out “gay bashing”, in order to to purify the nation, and stay the judgment of God! This guy has some serious issues here, I’m afraid. Another self-loathing closet-case if ever I saw one!!

I remember when my mother gave me some “xtian metal” CD, it sounded like just a bunch of unintelligible gurgling… I ejected it, threw it out my bedroom window and put Nine Inch Nails back in. I can totally picture these guys and Fred Pheltch’s female singing troupe, The Phaggettes, teaming up for a collaboration album.
