THE controversial artist, who sparked debate – and attracted death threats – by drawing the “prophet” Mohammed with the body of a dog, revealed yesterday that he had joined Facebook’s “Kill Lars Vilks“group, as well as another anti-Vilks group.
The revelation, according to this report, came after Vilks had delivered a speech just steps away from a mosque in Stockholm. It was part of a demonstration for freedom of speech organised by the Council for Ex-Muslims in Scandinavia.
He said his initial intention had been to interfere with the groups and sabotage their forums. But, surprisingly, he became engaged with the groups’ members.
He said:
I thought they were going to be totally impossible to communicate with. Many people dislike me but are curious about who I am.  … All of them are intolerable, but some of them are ready to discuss.
After being attacked while giving a lecture at a Swedish university recently, and a a later arson attempt on his home, he now plans more visits and discussions in school on the subject of freedom of speech.
An Al-Qaeda front organisation has offered $100,000 dollars to anyone who murders Vilks – with an extra $50,000 if his throat is slit.
While on the subject of blood-thirsty islamists, we learn from a German report that boys brought up in devout Muslim homes are more inclined to violence.
A study, which involved intensive questioning of 45,000 teenagers from 61 towns and regions across the country, was conducted by Christian Pfeiffer of the criminal research institute of Lower Saxony.
Pfeiffer said he was dismayed by the results, and that he was a strong critic of political campaigns which painted foreigners as criminals.
But Pfeiffer added that even when other social factors were taken into account, there remained a significant correlation between religiosity and readiness to use violence.
His researchers asked the teenagers a range of questions about their ideas of manliness, for example whether they thought a man was justified in hitting his wife if she had been unfaithful. They also asked about what media and computer game violence they were exposed to, as well as whether their friends were involved in crime or violence.
The results showed that Muslim boys from immigrant families were more than twice as likely to agree with macho statements than boys from Christian immigrant families. The rate was highest among those considered as very religious, Pfeiffer said. They were also more likely to be using violent computer games and have criminal friends.
Added to that, the more religious Muslim boys felt the least integrated into German society, with only 14.5 percent of the very religious Turkish boys (the largest group of Muslims in the study) saying they felt German, although 88.5 percent had been born here.
Pfeiffer said he thought the responsibility for the macho culture lay with Imams in Germany, who he said usually come from abroad and often cannot speak German or have much understanding of the culture.
Said Pfeiffer:
We have to prevent attempts at integration from being destroyed by Imams who preach Turkish provincial stories and a reactionary male image.

Up to a third of Muslim prisoners, according to the report, adopted the religion while serving their sentence.
Inmates say their reasons for converting include the protection of belonging to a gang and perceived material perks offered to Muslims.
Many converts, known as “convenience Muslims”, admitted they changed faiths because as a Muslim they were entitled to more time outside of their cells and offered better food.
Muslim prisoners are also excluded from work and education on Fridays so they can attend prayers.
Staff at one high security prison said non-Muslims were pressured into converting and adopting a “strict” form of Islam.

What can I say? They enter prison as convicts and leave as muzzies with criminal tendencies. New to the faith they’ll be fervent “born agains” whose zeal may drive them to commit religiously motivated crimes. Their lack of judgement and restraint already got them banged-up and now they’ll do it again for Allah. Once they hook-up with their old mates they can acquire weapons, explosives and other materials for Jihad. The shoe bomber Richard Reid converted to Islam while inside.

I wonder if Pakistan, a country which recently blocked facebook because of the “Everyone draw mohammad” day, have any problems with people (Muslims) setting up a group encouraging the killing of a cartoonist. I bet they wouldn’t.

L. Vilks is a provocateur, he thinks he can impose his world-view, or whatever he’s proud of, onto the Muslim community. BTW; they are Muslims not muzzies.
To get the attention of the media, he has to disgrace us. However he is only disgracing himself.
And why there is violence to be found?
Short answer: You can’t drop bombs on people, rob countries of their ressources, impose or keep tyrants to oppress them, … without any reaction from the Muslims!

Did anyone heard about Lars Vilks before his cartoons about our Prophet (s.A.s)? I don’t think so. Now, his become celebrity, I think that was one of his objectif (aim) . Didn’t u see what he is doing? He has choosen the dangerous way to become famous and now everyone is talking about him, majority are supporting him. He knows what his cartoons will provoce and he continues. He didn’t think about persons who can suffer from this. Taking something that is precious/saint to someone and making it rediculous? Do u think it’s normal? He knows very well reactions of muslims. Why provoke them? He is very crafty.. I understand “freedom of speech” but we can’t make rediculous everything. People who do it are such ignorant, they have nthg holy.. Think twice where it will lead us.
