Islam is a cancer to humanity and must be eradicated from our history. It has only brought evil into this world and those who dispute this truly are ignorant in that they have not read the quran in Arabic, the Hadiths, and multitudes of Islamic books written in Arabic that would shame any decent human being who believes they are muslim.

Before bearing arms and looking to revenge, look to the light for knowledge and academic research would only confirm any truth. A belief system that does not advocate research and questioning is only a cult.

The truth shall set you free.

@Em: That’s all very interesting. It would be illuminating to hear your thoughts on *this* issue though. Specifically, on the attempts of Pakistan to press criminal charges against people in other countries who say things that insult their religious beliefs.

It seems you just said a whole bunch of stuff that everyone agrees on and implied that this somehow defends Pakistan’s actions here. Well, no, it doesn’t.

How come Saudi Arabia has no christian churches, Jewish temples, or ethical humanist meeting halls? Yet they have the nerve to turn around and build mosques in other countries.

GSW and Barriejohn have it right. i was trying to pinpoint this sort of mentality- where they think they are allowed to control anyone they want. Hmmm, that seems vaguely familiar. But wait, I’m from the US. Who in the US wants to control me through their religious dogmas? Hmm, I’m having trouble placing a finger on it. Well, I know it can’t possibly be those christians. They wouldn’t ever try to control anyone else b/c of religion. thats just not christ-like

these people are just ridiculous. Can’t we just laugh at the crazies and move on with our life like we used to? Can’t we just ignore such inanities? They think they can just patrol the world, looking to fight against these “blasphemers”– THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!! you get to control your own silly little oppressed people, and we get to ignore you. and if you try to stop us, we then have the right to use our wealth, resources, and technology to overpower you and your little beliefs. this people can be hushed away. take away their little television cameras, get our reporters out of their countries, and let them figure out how to make Iphones and their own food. Let their little voices try to be heard over our awesomeness

Oh Children of Mohammed!
Repent, the end is near. Soon your militant Muslim beliefs will be no more because your tyrannical governments will be overthrown by the good forces from the spiritual and from the physical world, which will include the oppressed good Muslims of your nations (the majority of Muslims in Muslim countries are not radical bastards but are good people who are tolerant of those who are respectful to them) and by brave and good Christian, Hindu, atheist foreigners.
Mohammed was a trickster, crook and a rapist. I would highly recommend that everyone that wants to see the real and dark side of Mohammed and the official Muslim religion to read the book â€œSword of the Prophetâ€ by Serge Trifkovic. If you want more entertainment with your wisdom read the book â€œTea With Terroristsâ€ which includes much important information on the dark side of this true blasphemer (I mean Mohammed) against truth, Godâ€™s mercy, goodness, and tolerance, however this information is intertwined with a fictional story about anti terrorist task force, terrorist attacks on the US, romance, adventure and a good ending (for good people).
So it it turns out that Mohammed had at least 13 wives, not the four the Koran lies that he had, he forced a Jewish princess that was very beautiful to marry him after he killed in front of her , her own brother and father, he started to have sex with his favorite wife when she was 9 years old, he ordered the killing of a poetess who wrote against him and of quite a few other critics, and when he was weak in numbers and power, he was very tolerant and understanding, however when he was strong in power he was murderous, authoritarian, and very intolerant. He was someone who was initially very friendly to the Jews, but when he saw that they did not follow him, and that they were ridiculing his very inaccurate rendition of their holy tales and scriptures, he decided that Jews were evil and needed to be persecuted. And he hated dogs. What kind of an idiot hates dogs? They are loving, kind if treated well, loyal, very much different in these qualities from cats, whom Mohammed loved.
Now I donâ€™t want to offend the atheist readers of this website (Iâ€™m serious) but I will say that in the Hindu tradition of meditation to listen to God, and in the Sioux Indian tradition of meditating to listen to God (Sioux Indians live in the prairie lands of the middle US region and were the ones that destroyed Custerâ€™s bastard troops that sought to steal even more land from the Indians whom they regarded as inferior), in agreement with both of these peopleâ€™s traditions I practice meditation. Everyone can do this meditation because God is in each person and happy to talk to people if they listen to him correctly and know how to approach God, and actually carry out his advice, commands, and try to apply their spirituality to their lives, friendships, how they do their jobs, etc. So why am I talking about meditation now? Because in meditation I have gotten repeatedly that Mohammed spent 300 years in hell after he died, because of his great evil and the evil he caused the world with his demented religion. But because he fooled so many good people into believing he was a good person and a godly man, these good people, millions of them, prayed for him sincerely, and out of mercy, God eventually answered their prayers and elevated Mohammed from hell and let him be happy , and accepted him eventually into Paradise. This will shock you that I believe this is true, but I did get in meditation that so much did Mohammed repent and become good, that he is now a high saint, and that he is very saddened by how the Mohammedans rape God and goodness when they rape Assyrian Christian women in Iraq, when they rape Coptic Egyptian Christian women in Egypt (both are done massively) and when they commit and have commited in the past genocides, massacres, imposed tyrannies, etc. I have much more to say on these things but I want to not take up too much space, so I am closing by saying: those of you who believe in God or Gods (I used to be a Christian, but am now a proud pagan, of the old Iranian category faith of Tangrism in Central Asia, from where a big part of my Bulgarian peoplesâ€™ ancestry came: these ancestors were the very civilized and advanced Bulgars of the Hindu Kush Mountains of India (Hindu Kush means Killing of Hindus, guess who killed them) and of the Pamir mountains of India) or who are agnostic or curious atheists and want to to explore God in you and what he can tell you, try to buy some Hindu book on meditation (they are much easier to find than Sioux Indian books on meditation) and try sincerely to apply it. There are many ways to listen to God, like from your dreams, from your intuition (women are gifted that they are much more intuitive then men, but many women misuse that gift) or through the Sun God, or most easily, from the God that is in the center and top part of your head (I think its called the crown) where if you imagine with faith that you are putting part of your energy there, and you hold it, you will soon get good results if you listen to what the information coming from that region tells you. Please make sure it feels like a good being that is talking to you and that it feels â€˜rightâ€™ when you do this meditation, otherwise your own wishful thinking or bad parts of your mind can fool you and pretend they are God. Approach this carefully if you are curious and you want to try this, because there are many energies (like demonic) that would love to present themselves as God and have you do their will. But if you approach it carefully but bravely, and completely honestly and also in a intelligent way, within five or six days of 10 minute meditation per day, you should start to get some good results. Many good wishes to all you readers out there, the haters, the lovers, the good and the bad. And most of all , I want to congratulate the founders of this website for allowing this discussion of Mohammed and Christianity and other religions to be posted on this ATHEIST web site. Yessir, you are exactly right. After what the English settlers did to the native Americans, and the smear of the slavery of negoes, the idea that America presents itself to the world as some beacon of civilization and that democracy is the answer to all social ills is so absurd as to be repulsive. Don’t get me wrong, I hate religion, but I could stand to end the corrupt politicians telling us how capitalism works. Exactly how much do we owe China?
