Ebola unleashed by ‘homosexualism’

Ebola unleashed by ‘homosexualism’

A clot of Christian ju-ju men in Liberia recently converged on St Stephen Episcopal Church in Sinkor, Monrovia, to deliberate on the Church’s role in and response to the Ebola epidemic.

According to this report, Team Ebola comprised more than 100 bishops, pastors, general overseers, prophets, evangelists and an assortment of other snake-oil salesmen under the auspices of the Liberia Council of Churches (LCC).

The meeting was called by Archbishop Jonathan B B Hart, above right, President of the LCC, who was also recently elected and enthroned Archbishop of the Internal Province of West Africa. Also present was Archbishop of the Catholic Church of Liberia, Lewis Zeiglier, left, who is also first vice president of the LCC,

The meeting was called to:

Discuss and consider an enhanced spiritual response by the church in Liberia to the prevailing Ebola virus.

It concluded that:

• That God is angry with Liberia, and that Ebola is a plague. Liberians have to pray and seek God’s forgiveness over the corruption and immoral acts (such as homosexualism, etc) that continue to penetrate our society. As Christians, we must repent and seek God’s forgiveness.

• That a three-day indoor fast and prayer across the nation be observed.

• That an inter-denominational committee be constituted to present said resolution to government.

• That if government is in agreement, the Republic of Liberia should be locked up for three days of fast and prayer. All movement should be restricted during those three days.

A perfect example of Peter Brietbart’s “Slacktivism”.

Earlier, Archbishop Zeigler in a homily during Mass at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Monrovia, called on all members of the Catholic Church in Liberia to observe three days of serious prayers, “using the Holy Rosary for God’s intervention” to bring remedy to the Ebola epidemic.

Zeigler entreated Christians, especially Catholics, to knock on heaven’s door.

The Church has used faithful and truthful prayers to God for intervention in our lives in times of peace, war or famine. Let us not miss this opportunity to pray together and go to God in the spirit of humility and repentance.

The Catholic prelate warned that Liberia has a very heavy load to carry, and called on all Liberians to unitedly shoulder that burden.

It is reported here that Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has announced a 90-day state of emergency in the country. She warned that “ignorance and poverty, as well as entrenched religious and cultural practices”, are continuing to exacerbate the spread of the disease.

She said the state of emergency, which will include troops being deployed to quarantine badly hit communities, was necessary for:

The very survival of our state and for the protection of the lives of our people.

Meanwhile, a swivel-eyed evangelical loon in America is hoping that the Ebola virus hits the US.

End Times radio host Rick Wiles said this week on his on “Trunews” programme that an outbreak of the disease in the US might actually be a good thing if it ends up bringing about an “attitude adjustment”.

Now this Ebola epidemic can become a global pandemic and that’s another name for plague. It may be the great attitude adjustment that I believe is coming. Ebola could solve America’s problems with atheism, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity, pornography and abortion.

If Ebola becomes a global plague, you better make sure the blood of Jesus is upon you, you better make sure you have been marked by the angels so that you are protected by God. If not, you may be a candidate to meet the Grim Reaper.

Two days earlier the nutter suggested that President Obama could spread the Ebola via vaccine, so that he could declare martial law.

Right before chatting with a Republican congressman on his on “Trunews” program yesterday, End Times radio host Rick Wiles said that an outbreak of Ebola in the U.S. might actually be a good thing if it ends up giving an “attitude adjustment” to all the gays and atheists, along with people who use pornography or have had an abortion, who will die if they aren’t “protected by God.”

The Church has used faithful and truthful prayers to God for intervention in our lives in times of peace, war or famine.

Can he name one example? I mean, prayer was so effective in combating the Black Death, wasn’t it? Do these comedians ever question why the worst natural tragedies of all kinds seem to affect the most religious nations on the face of the earth? Why are these really poweful gods of theirs not striking fear into the hearts of liberal, atheist Europeans? I think they’re really beyond help.

Well, one good thing about the Ebola outbreak: It’s sending missionaries scuttling back to America:

We shouldn’t be too quick to dismiss these claims. Remember when they said same-sex marriage would lead to bestiality…

Samaritan’s Purse – that’s the outfit run by Billy Graham’s son! Prayer not so effective after all, then?

Meanwhile, the Vatican is sending a team of specialist doctors:

Hopefully it’ll open and they can all enter. 🙂

  6. Ivan says:

By this reasoning one would think that Yahweh would have placed the outbreak in Brighton.

  7. why do i have to share this planet with religious idiots says:

Whats in a name? Why do I have to share this planet with religious idiots.

To understand the real heroes of this dangerous situation who are actually doing the right thing and who are in harms way you should have been listening to the UK doctor on R4 PM earlier the week. A very brave rational man.

  8. Broga says:

These crazies, and the Zombie like Rick Wiles is a perfect example, lust to see carnage, suffering and mega deaths. They are the supreme sadists. They assume, it seems, that they will be spared as, out of the thousands of gods, they worship the real one.

@Ivan: I think Brighton is OK as, last time I heard, it was the second most atheist city. Reassuring to me as my wife is there at the moment. My own guess is that per capita there are more sceptics in the Vatican than in Brighton.

  9. Trevor Blake says:

May God’s gift be delivered swiftly to those clergy who reach their hands up to Him. Let Mr. Wiles lead the way into the world he wants.

  10. Paul Cook says:

So gawd is angry with Liberia and is bringing a plague on the people for being homosexuals.

    Excellent.
However, I did hear today that a great majority of those infected happened to be in the medical profession. What did they do then?

  11. L.Long says:

Yes some people do bad stuff. But to be truly evil takes some form of religious BS with a psychotic gawd!!!

  12. jay says:

Shouldn’t the Vatican be sending a team of exorcists?

  13. Matt Westwood says:

“… I did hear today that a great majority of those infected happened to be in the medical profession. What did they do then?”

Dared to defy God’s Holy Plan by interfering with the Natural Order of Things where people die horribly.

  14. Broga says:

@jay: I think you have got the solution. Send out a few hundred Vatican trained exorcists supplemented by faith healers. Problem solved.

  15. Stonyground says:

I think that the musical The Book of Mormon has the situation summed up a lot better than these religious clowns. Warning, the song in this link is very sweary and very blasphemous, so you will definitely burn in Hell if you click on it. Enjoy.

  16. Paul Cook says:

wasn’t there a cafflick promulgation that they weren’t supposed to carry out exorcism’s any more? [I do recall Freethinker had a report on a university course or something on exorcism- which implies the cafflicks have ignored that]

I’d thought they’d sort of agreed that evil spirits didn’t really inhabit people – that’s now known as mental illness and epilepsy etc. And they’d seemed to accept medical reasoning on that issue. It is a shame however, they don’t see the evil spirits inhabiting most of their own lot.

  17. Newspaniard says:

Not that I would condone such a thing but if the Ebola virus were to strike ISIS, I guess doctors throughout the world would rush to help? Alternatively, because it is so virulent, perhaps the West should quarantine IS and allow the virus to run its course? Of course, as there appear to be many ISIS supporters in the UK, particularly around Tower Hamlets, we could assist those supporters to go and assist the infected terrorists.

  18. barriejohn says:

I had a quick look at the Samaritan’s Purse website to glean more information and found this report:

    http://www.samaritanspurse.org/article/samaritans-purse-doctor-serving-in-liberia-west-africa-tests-positive-for-ebola/

“Please keep praying and thank God for all He is doing.”

The safety of our staff is a top priority, and Samaritan’s Purse is currently working to evacuate all but the most essential personnel to their home countries.

I don’t really understand that at all.

  19. Norman Paterson says:

I do wish god would not keep sending us these messages which only contain 1 bit of information. According to Wikipedia, “Both male and female same-sex sexual activity is illegal in Liberia.” So when Ebola strikes Liberia, perhaps it is a message from god that Liberia needs to loosen up a bit?

Or perhaps god is annoyed by something else altogether. Maybe people are not flossing enough.

  20. zombiehunter says:

Ebola doesn’t discriminate based on sexuality, race, gender or financial status, in that sense ebola is more highly developed than most of these bible bashers
