Video demonstrates ‘horrors of equality’
‘Normal’ Irish couple barricade their home and hide their son Michael in a box in to protect themselves from an onslaught of homosexuals.
Last year the Catholic Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin, Denis Nulty, warned that:
To change the nature of marriage would be to undermine it as the fundamental building block of our society.
He was responding to news that the Irish government will hold a referendum on the issue in 2015.
Nulty’s warning, combined with the homophobic babblings of other Christian zealots, inspired an Irish group, LGBT Noise, to produce a spoof horror video ahead of yesterday’s March for Marriage in Dublin, which attracted thousands of people.
The short film – Armagayddon – features a straight couple barricaded in their home in against a “horrifying” world, where too much equality has forced them to keep their son Michael “safe” in a box.
John and Mary recall that it was legions of heterosexual friends of Ireland’s “five or six” gays who marched – and voted – in support of equality, turning the entire country into a hellish, post-apocalyptic wasteland where “normal” people must barricade themselves behind barred windows and locked doors.
Just last week, a new poll by the Sunday Times revealed that 86 percent of Irish citizens support marriage equality.
