Mexican boy blinded in a satanic ritual

Mexican boy blinded in a satanic ritual

The child’s mother – Maria del Carmen Garcia Rios, 28, above – and and five relatives have each been jailed for 30 years for using a spoon to to gouge out his eyes.

According to this report, five-year-old Fernando Rios was blinded in a bizarre satanic ritual by his mother, aunt, two uncles and grandparents when he refused to close them as they attempted to summon the devil, calling on him to end the world and claim them for his own.

Neighbours disturbed by the screams and chanting investigated and discovered Rios, her sister and two brothers and her parents engaged in the ritual in the poor Nezahualcoyotl area near Mexico city.

A court heard the six danced and cavorted and were told to close their eyes so they didn’t look at the devil when he arrived. They then attacked the terrified boy for disobeying.

Neighbour Joaquin Arguellor told the court he thought the family were devout and deeply religious, not Satanists. He said:

We could hear screaming and we were banging on the door but nobody was answering, then a police patrol came past and one of the women who was with us ran into the road to flag it down, and officers forced their way inside.

Officer Benet Curiel said they witnessed a scene of horror inside.

Scantily-clad satanists were hunched over the screaming boy in the kitchen and the two women were covered in blood:

We called for an ambulance and kept the group against the wall at gunpoint away from the boy.

I asked one of the women what was going on and she told me her name was Carmen Rios Garcia, and that the boy was her son.

She identified him as Fernando Caleb Alvarado Rios, and said that she and her sister Lizbeth had done it.

She admitted that she had told him repeatedly to close his eyes and when he had told her ‘No, I do not want to close them’ she had ordered the others to help remove his eyes.

The youngster has since been given glass eyes which Mexican health officials said would be constantly replaced as he grew older.

Who are we to stay that, that is not a religion ceremony? It is, a god was believed to be involved and it goes yet again to show how dumb religion is.

What proof is there that this is a satanic ritual??
It sounds more like a xtian exorcism.
As in …’If thy eye offend thee, pluck them out…..’.

When one person suffers from a delusion it’s called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it should also be called insanity…I know I pinched this , but FFS her own son!! No doubt some priest or other will turn around and say the devil did come, and it was the devil what made ’em do it – honest!

Both alleged fairies, that god one and it’s various versions and that satan/devil version are really a nasty stain on humanity, amazing for deities that don’t seem to exist. It should be as simple as telling the various version’s followers that it’s now 2014 and it’s time they caught up, but sadly, they don’t seem to want to listen.

I do wonder how all those adults were together mutilating their own flesh and blood.

    how could they do that?

  6. Stephen Mynett says:

Paul, it amazes me too but it is common in many forms of belief, just look at circumcision an unnecessary mutilation but carried out with gusto in many religious cultures.

Stephen Mynett, the religious claim that god created humans, so why do these loons have to lob off a bit of penis; did their god make a mistake?

  8. Stephen Mynett says:

Angela, this god seems to have made a bigger mistake with women, FGM is a far more painful and dangerous process, with life-long effects than male circumcision.

As a fan of Douglas Adams I enjoy the title of the books by Oolon Colluphid, Where God Went Wrong, Some More of God’s Greatest Mistakes and Who is This God Person Anyway?

Ah, yes, but these things can all be attributed (somehow or other) to “The Fall” (not Autumn, of course!).

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Gen. 3:16)

Without Eve’s stupidity we would not have sin, death, disease, pain, menstruation, labour (male and female types), weeds, rainfall, carnivores – it’s all there in the Bible for anyone to read.

  10. A Confused Atheist says:

This is not Satanism, this is child abuse(!) Real Satanism is more spiritual than religious, as it focuses on the inner-devil inside of one’s person (the naughty, lustful or greed side); worshipping some fictitious monster with red skin and horns sticking out of its head is the sign of somebody with serious psychological problems.
