This fool loves God, country and guns. But not bare breasts.

This fool loves God, country and guns. But not bare breasts.

New Hampshire ‘pro-family’ Republican State Representative Josh Moore, above, has outraged women by saying on Facebook that he should be allowed to grab women’s breasts if they expose them in public.

In New Hampshire, according to this report, both men and women are free to go topless, but that could change if a proposed law banning women from exposing their breasts in public is passed.

Posting a comment on Facebook (since deleted) Moore expressed his support for the new law that states that woman could be charged with a misdemeanor if she:

Purposely exposes the areola or nipple of her breast or breasts in a public place and in the presence of another person with reckless disregard for whether a reasonable person would be offended or alarmed by such act.

Fellow New Hampshire state Representative Amanda Bouldin, pictured above with her daughter, was infuriated that a party whose platform praises “freedom” and “limited government” would attempt to police women’s bodies so blatantly. She wrote a brief Facebook post criticising the bill as a sexist betrayal of the GOP’s purported “smaller government” principles.

Moore promptly responded, providing:

A wonderfully succinct example of the kind of misogyny Bouldin was castigating.

He wrote:

Who doesn’t support a mothers right to feed? Don’t give me the liberal talking points Amanda. If it’s a woman’s natural inclination to pull her nipple out in public and you support that, than you should have no problem with a mans [inclination] to stare at it and grab it. After all, it’s ALL relative and natural, right?

Moore’s fellow Republican, State Representative Al Baldasaro, chimed in to further insult Bouldin.

Amanada (sic), No disrespect, but your nipple would be the last one I would want to see. You want to turn our family beach’s into a pervert show. Liberterians want a nude beach, put your money together and buy one, if you want to expose you kids to nudity, go for it. Some of us liberty minded Reps do beleive (sic) in family values.

Constituents criticised the law, and also the responses of Moore and Baldasaro. One woman wrote:

I have no words. Unbelievable and discriminatory to women and babies … I’d be proud to be on the sex offenders list for breastfeeding in public and I’d rake the courts through the mud on national television!

Said another:

I can’t believe how backwards things have gone, my children are 21, 23 & 25, all breastfed, YES IN PUBLIC as well as in my home and I NEVER had any problems with anyone about it. I’m just shocked by this absurdity against the most natural thing in this world!

On Moore’s social media profiles, he identifies himself as a “pro-family” lawmaker with a love of:

Love God, country, guns and family.

Another religious twerp who believes we should be ashamed of our bodies; I wonder if he is a fan of the Burqa? He seems like the type of person who blames a rape victim because – in his perverted view – she dressed provocatively.

  3. Trevor Blake says:

The evidence is that the Bible condones public nudity in men. A naked young man was with Jesus and the disciples when Jesus was arrested (Mark 14:51-52). Saul prophecies naked (1 Samuel 19:24), as does Isaiah (Isaiah 20:25) and Micah (Micah 1:8).

And when it comes to a woman grabbing the ‘secrets’ of a man in public, here’s what the Bible says: “When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets, then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her.” (Deuteronomy 25:11-12).

Jesus Christ himself spoke of the importance of public nudity in men and the mandatory mutilation of women who grab: “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or tittle shall nowise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:18-19)

The Bible is an obscene call to violence and madness.

  4. L.Long says:

I have seen men with breast and nipples as prominent as some women. So what is the basic difference?? NONE!!! Know why so many men hate nudity?? Because they would have a permanent hardon cuz their repressive BS does not teach control or better still ‘who gives a schite!’. Besides as far as I can tell most who are against this stuff can get girls to take their clothes off only by paying for it. Wanna bet how tall his stack of nude mags is???

  6. Graham Martin-Royle says:

Why are people so ashamed of the human body that they want to hide it all the time?

  7. Rob Andrews says:

    @Graham Martin-Royal:

I can’t figure that out either. This is only in the Abrahamic religions. I guess sex takes away thoughts of God.

Odd thing about all these ‘pro-family’ politicians. Thanks to their ruthless career ambitions they generally have so little interaction with their families they’d have problems remembering their kid’s name or their spouse’s birthday without their PA to remind them.

Shall we start counting down the days until both of these family-minded Repugnants are caught in a compromising position with a sex worker, and not necessarily of the opposite sex.

  11. Don H. says:

Mr. Duke left a few “(sic)”s out of the quote from State Representative Al Baldasaro. There should be one after “No” (which should have been “no”), “beach’s” (which should have been “beaches”), “Liberterians” (which should have been “Libertarians”), “you kids” (which should have been “your kids”), and “buy one, if” (which should have been “buy one; if” or “buy one. If”). But, I suppose that Mr. Duke was getting sick of typing “(sic)”.

Really?! This guy, Baldasaro, who should have been held back in seventh grade, is a state representative?! WOW!

  13. Cali Ron says:

“Purposely exposes the areola or nipple of her breast or breasts in a public place and in the presence of another person with reckless disregard for whether a reasonable person would be offended or alarmed by such act.” No REASONABLE person would ever be offended by someone breast feeding, so there is obviously no need for this law. Only religious idiots and the mentally ill (perhaps the same thing) can’t tell the deference between feeding a baby and sexuality. Only goes to show how repressed and distorted evangelicals are when it comes to anything remotely (or not) related to sex. You’d think with all of god’s supposed power he could help them control themselves or at least show more maturity than a 7 year old.

  14. dennis says:

the nipple is exposed and this guy has to run up and touch it. I don’t get it and the burqa I don’t get for the same reason “its exposed” I have to touch her hair. oh’ religion why are you such a child.
