Freethought for the week, 13-17 June: Culture wars and cannibalism

Dear reader,

This week, we explore the question of whether there are 'secular conservatives' in the US, and who they are, in an article by Jacques Berlinerblau, a professor of Jewish Civilisation and scholar of secularism at Georgetown University, Washington DC.

Our correspondent for Diversity, Respect and Social Cohesion, Modus Tollens, has meanwhile been investigating the rise of a lesser-known group as it struggles for recognition.

New articles
- Secular conservatives? If only…, by Jacques Berlinerblau
- Cannibal Speaks Out, by Modus Tollens

Coming up later in Blasphemy Month
Next week we will be featuring an interview with Richard Dawkins on science, religion, Covid, and having his Humanist of the Year Award stripped by the American Humanist Association.
