Neil Barber (1961-2026) was the Communications Officer for the Edinburgh Secular Society and sometimes represented the National Secular Society as a spokesperson for Scotland. In this capacity he contributed regularly to the press and radio and television debates and was part of the Scottish Government’s consultation on the controversial Hate Crime Bill.
He was also a philosophy graduate from Edinburgh University, a professional songwriter, children’s music tutor, and voice-over artist.
