In my capacity as Freethinker editor, I will be speaking at two upcoming events.

National Secular Society (NSS) conference, 19 October

The conference is being held in London’s Grand Connaught Rooms and begins at 10:30. I will be speaking in the afternoon on a panel entitled ‘Threats to social cohesion and liberal democracy’ alongside James Bloodworth, Sukhwant Dhaliwal, and Rumy Hasan. My predecessor as Freethinker editor, Emma Park, will also be speaking at the conference. Other speakers will include Paul Scriven and Maryam Namazie.

It would be lovely to see you there. The Freethinker will have a stall, so do come and say hello.

You can find out more and book tickets here. Book soon—tickets are running low!

You can also read an essay from NSS CEO Stephen Evans setting out the themes of the conference here.
