I am pleased to invite the readers of the Freethinker to Hitchmas, a celebration of the life and work of Christopher Hitchens. In oddly ecumenical fashion, it has been co-organised by Atheism UK and Premier Unbelievable, and, in the spirit of Hitchens, it will feature debates and discussions between freethinkers and believers.

The line-up includes Stephen Woodford of Rationality Rules YouTube fame, the Reverend Dr Pete Myers, philosopher Julian Baggini, Atheism UK president John Richards, Freethinker contributor Samuel McKee, Maryam Namazie of the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain, and yours truly, editor of the Freethinker.

It is happening on 12 April at the Pendulum Hotel in Manchester, and it would be wonderful to see some readers of the Freethinker there. You can find out more and purchase tickets here.
